What do you have to show us as a prized souvenir and gain for your fight? Second Niger bridge has been under contract for 40yrs. The dredging of Niger to Onitsha for 60yrs. What is your gain? 1 Like |

ARIZONA123: Who is the Yoruba king under captivity? This is not Iboland, where money gets you a crown. We dont create autonomous councils for moneybags in Yorubaland. If you are refering to Falae, his proper title is Chief, not King. Yes, he is and will be freed soon. You know Yorubas, we think before we act. We are mindful of what's at stake and will approach it to a successful outcome. We have a disincentive to the problem and is why our region remains the most secured in Nigeria. We cant say the same about alaibo, can we? 4 Likes |

ozinetbiz: Good thinking Bro. You have become far too many, your numbers is rightly unsettling the Yoruba owners of the Land. The sheer number of Igbos migrating to Lagos is totally unacceptable and a shame to the Igbo tribe and Igbo leaders if you have any left. Why would people almost completely vacate and desert their land under the pretext that they are doing cross border trade. You want to flex in Lagos. Well now that the owners are coming out of their slumber and have realised the danger ahead. Once economic and political competition starts one tribe has to leave and that wont be the indigenous people. |

ibedun: Ultimately Ibos will end up revolting against their leaders. Yoruba is installing policies and agendas that will make it possible. Lagos will open Ibos eyes to a new reality about Yoruba politics that they had never witnessed before, and which for eternity will be etched in their memory. The elites of Yorubaland have decided to use Lagos as the proving ground to give Ibo a taste of the Yoruba Code. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kagawa10: Obanikoro and chiefs gave Igbos tickets and they won the elections, in your own region. I can see the cause of ur bitterness. Sorry, you hear? It's not our fault. I give it you that PDP is still relevant in Lagos just because of Igbos, and they can't be silly enough to push away igbos in the party. Bring back your sermon the day Lagos APC starts giving tickets to Igbos. That's the day I will start taking you serious. Call it lease or rent, the lands currently belong to those Igbo guys. Even my cousin has a land on which he built a 2 storey building in Ogun State. That's how bad it is. Sorry eh. Igala taking over Anambra State? This is one of the most stupid statements I've ever heard, and I don't think it's worthy of a response. But let me clear you on this, Anambra West LGA has many Igala communities. The headquarters of the LGA (Nzam) is an Igala community. So I still don't understand you when you say Igalas are taking over Anambra. Have you ever heard that an Igala man was appointed a commissioner in Anambra? Guy grow up and get some knowledge. 1 Like |

ibedun:What did u call the South Africans when they attacked foreigners( mostly Nigerians)?... Xenophobic I guess, yet u indirectly promote xenophobia in ur state/region(lagos) against a particular race in their own country (what ever happened to freedom of coexistence) ... Let me ask u;are the Igbos the only race residing as immigrants in Lagos? Of course not. Come to Awka the capital of Anambra state, the 'yorubas own the clothe making/sewing section/line of the Eke Awka market' , which happens to be the biggest market in state's capital. Now do u want to tell me that u would sing praises to the Igbos if thesame injustice is meted on ur people down there? Please cease from judging cases like this from a tribal perspective so u don't look or sound sentimental or hypocritical. Peace! 1 Like |

Kennydoc:Igala are killing ibos in number in aguleri! That's how to take over land, it's by conquering and destroying its citizen, not by getting a leased land, dumbo! Yorubas has various leased lands in london but no sane person can say they are taking over London! Common, you should be preventing ibos from getting extinct in Aguleri rather than becoming joyous over leased land! Lol! What a loser! No Yoruba even cared about Obanikoro giving his tickets to the ibos during the preliminary, just as no Yoruba blinked an eye when apc nominated igbokwe in its cabinet until agbajechukwu openly displayed his ibotic agenda and his fellow slavic ibo losers cheering him on. Agbajechukwu himself knows his political ambition in lagos is finished, just as his 5th class ibo slaves! Bunch of chest beating ibo losers championing fellow losers! Lol! 1 Like |

tobimillar: The only reason anyone will talk this way is lack of the knowledge of the supremacy of the constitution of a state. Hear this, countries are not run with emotions and sentiments but laws. The constitution stipulates taxes to be paid by traders and from what I have read up there, they(traders) have not defaulted. Again,it is high time we stoped such emotional statements as Aba belongs to the igbos, kaduna to the hausas and lagos to the yorubas, etc. The reason is simple:In the eye of the constitution,we are all nigerians living in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Kagawa10:How did u know that the alaba int'l market traders were guilty of all these accusations. Can u vouch for ur people in other regions of their innocence of these points u made above. How many hausas have been marginalized or killed in the south for their brother, Shekau's evil crusade(hate) against other Nigerians. How many yorubas have been hurt in the Southeast for Oba Akiolu's hate speech against the Igbos in the run up to the Lagos state governorship election. Did u come to nairaland to criticize him...? How many Igbos do u know that are the so called Nnamdi Kalu followers? That u are calling for such mutiny against them. Pls bro, I don't do tribal war on here, cos I'm not trabalistic, incase u've not noticed. From ur write up, it's evident u hate the Igbos, so do well to find ur match here. Am out. Thank u! 1 Like |

Tex42:It's quite funny seeing you drawing an analogy between kanu and shekau where there is none! Shekau is about Islamization and sharia! He dosen't even spare his fellow hausa brethren nor muslims but here, you are comparing him to kanu! Also, Oba Akinolu telling ibos to vote for Ambode or risk being thrown into lagoon can't be compared with Kanu cursing & attacking both Yorubas and Hausa on daily basis! Another thing is Yoruba condemned Oba speech but no Ibo condemned Kanu! What an hypocrite! |

Kagawa10: Hahahahaha. This guy is so dumb and grossly inexperienced. You should concern yourself with the raid fulanis are carrying out in Yoruba land. Kwara has been run over, and they are now taking over Oyo and Osun states. That should be a greater concern to you. Border clashes happen everywhere so it isn't new, more so the one that is motivated by claiming of oil fields. Governor Obiano told his people to relax while National Boundary Commission sorts out the issue, cos he's from Aguilera, and there hasn't been any clash this year. We are not irrational zombies. My guy, Igalas can never stand Igbos any day any time, whether in population, wealth, political strength or anything you can think of,so just leave that argument. It's grossly illogical. Yorubas didn't care about Igbos getting PDP tickets cos they were in APC and never expected Igbos to win. The entire electoral process was about Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos, and that's why Agbaje lost. You lots say that PDP is a regional or SS/SE party. Why are you complaining about SE and SS people getting their tickets? You should be more concerned about your APC candidates winning elections in those constituencies. That's the one that concerns you, not who PDP chooses to present. The same way you're making noise now is the same way you guys made noise before the elections, yet your people were displaced from their HOR seats. Worse will happen in 2009. And let me tell you, PDP chieftains will rather present Igbos and retain the seats than present Yorubas and lose to APC. Deal with it. |
