The LG council opted for table payment instead of paying through their various salary accounts. The brain behind it is to avoid loan repayment in the name of getting money for Salah celebration. Now they have lost all I just felt for the lost ones...... May their souls rest in peace and those heartless gangs pay for their awful acts. And Some people should be seriously interrogated for their actions in that LG council for taking the decision of table payment, cos they can't claim ignorance to the recent bad security situation in okene and the environs. 3 Likes |

DrObum: You know in 9ja, corruption will not make us do the right thing. Why would local government staff not have salary accounts and just wait for alert? Considering the incessant bank robberies in that area, should LG leadership not have known the danger? But ghost workers would be much easier to include if paying cash. Not saying that's exactly what happened but it looks silly to me. Imagine Sallah without money for LG staff now. RIP to the dead. 2 Likes |

You mean those policemen killed are not human beings? If one police man got you offended one day in the course of his duty & now you're happy for the death of any police man or police men, honestly, you're not being fair to God & yourself either. There are thousands & one decent policemen that do their work with the fear of God. Again, tell me how clean you're to yourself? 3 Likes |

[quote author=DrObum post=38316745]RIP to the men that lost their lives. But the story is incomplete though. Was the money stolen from a bank? If yes, who said that the particular money stolen was for the local government? If no, do local governments still pay in cash? To warrant moving that amount of liquid cash around OP, oyaaaa over to you! Very sensible post Why should salaries be paid by cash wh3n each wo4ke4 have for years been told to open bank account and àll have one If the manager of that bank has gone to Edo or one of those ino states to come robhis workers he should just ownup so also the DPO Okene has explanations to do on how he send his men to goes esçort à close empty piçkto move such amount of cash 1 Like |
