When Martial was signed, i told you guys here that LVG and Giggs must have seen something about him that we don't know yet. Its been so far so good. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by capricornian(m): 10:26pm On Sep 23, 2015 |
I use this period to apologise to Martial. I was one of those who did not understand why LVG would go for an unproven striker when it was obvious we we were struggling in terms of scoring enough goals. I was blind but now I can see. Honestly I am not asking for 25 goals from him but I think he would get more than 15goals which isn't bad for a debut season. Martial, Mabinu o.... I really underestimated you |

I really hope we dont get any injuries again till end of season(at least). The team, especially the midfield seems to gelling. And our attack seems to ve found their scoring boots. We've now scored 9 goals in our last 3 domestic games. Same cant be said of our first 3 games of the season. The defence tho, still needs a lot of work. De Gea needs to start raking in those clean sheets. Pls can anyone provide the duration of Shaw's injury?? Or issit still the same 8 months that was stipulated wen he got injured?? |

PietroRico:yeah me too, particularly lingaard but I understand the man, he doesn't want a repeat of the 4-0 thrashing we got from MK DONS last time out. For Pereira, he deserves a shot at the first team n from LVG's comment after the game, it seems that the boy will get his chances this season. |

My only worry is our defense, hopefully Phil Jones will cover for the main time cos I don't get Rojo n his incessant injuries. The midfield has so many options that we can afford to rotate comfortably. |

parrotibaba:yea... I'm not even sure they made the bench I didn't start the game and didn't know who and who were on the bench... When we went 2 nil up I was hoping to see at least one of them, only to see him bring on Depay and martial |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 8:26am On Sep 24, 2015 |
We have come to expect composed finishing from Martial but what impressed me most about his goal was his instinctive run across the defender thereby making it almost impossible for the defender to tackle him legally. This boy is looking really good....but there is still lots of work to be done. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 8:31am On Sep 24, 2015 |
PietroRico: Lingaard is suffering because of his lack of gloss and flair. He is a very stable and effective player who will give us decent crossing and finishing from the right hand side and possibly more balance than mata. Perreira's skill and potential level like Adnan's is so high that we risk losing them Pogba style to foreign giants if we dont play them. Wilson and Lingaard being British can be safely nurtured in a more patient manner |

It appears you guys missed out on some many news items. Gaal made it clear Wilson and Lingaard were not needed for the match, he also gave them time to rest after their mid week match. Even from the wilderness I read some news. ....... .... Wilson and Lingard, Van Gaal said: "Today they have had a recovery day and also tomorrow is more recovery but I don't need them so they can have a day off and then Thursday they will be fresh and can train."- Gaal |
