What OS are you having on your laptop? Do you also have the correct USB drivers for MTK devices installed? Lastly you may have to run the Infinix Flashtool as Administrator (Right Click and Run As Administrator) for it to work. Until you flash with the original stock OS, you may have problems updating.

u guys should not make me regret buying this phone please, I have diligently followed this thread from page 1 to the end yet no solution, I asked a question and the only response I got was to root the phone and install SD card fixer. I don't want to root my phone, I've been using it for over three weeks now and I have over 10gb of memory in my phone, my SD card is filled up yet I can't use my phone memory. This is too bad please give me a solution. I plan selling off this phone next week if I can't get an answer. Thank you all

brother, I don't understand why infinix will produce a phone and make the Rom useless to its customers. I really like this phone if not for this rubbish memory ish, what if I damage the phone in the process of rooting, is it worth the risk? If I had known I wouldn't have bought the phone. A friend of mine who also has this phone is complaining about the same thing and I'm even more fed up than he is. Is there no way around this problem without rooting?

I use the flip cover..but the screen doesn't turn on and off when I open or cover it..yes I have a tempered glass on it

It all depends on your usage. Heavy use 6-7 hours while average use may get you like 12 hours.

Hi, you can try following way to set the anti-theft function: Settings----Security----Mobile anti-theft. But remember to cancel the setting if you need to insert a new simcard in the future, otherwise you can't use your new simcard. Thank you!

I'm crying here that I can't use my internal memory. Only the memory card is working, phone memory is useless to me. I can't download into my phone memory, I can't move items from SD card to phone. God knows I regret this phone. Before I bought it I read negative reviews about the phone yet I went ahead and bought it believing that haters are trying to spoil the phone, now I believe them.

I've you tried resetting to factory default? I had same problem when I first bought it. Anytime I take a photograph it tells me cannot be saved. I tried all the tricks I knew it did not help until I reset to factory default and upgraded the ROM too before I knew peace. Unfortunately I don't use SD Card as all the ones in the market here are defective. I don't want to risk losing important stuff.

Yesterday I decided to take a good look at my friend infinix Hot 2 he had been complaining about.. And I found out that the phone is quite good on one hand but it's shortcomings are more than its advantages.
1.No Gallery on the phone, as one has to use Google photos to view pictures.
2.They claim its camera is 8MP,We decided to then take a picture of me using my 5.1 infinix Hot Note pro and his infinix Hot 2 and he discovered the difference. My nairalanders, The infinix hot note own was just outstanding.
3.He couldn't explore his phone memory as no file explorer was installed from the company, I then had to send him my ES file Explorer which served as an alternative to him.
4.If one mistakenly forgets his password, there is no means of recovering it.I even tried to boot into recovery using Power and volume up key but all to no avail.
5.There was no reboot function. Just power off
I am not here to eulogise any device, neither to appraise it,but to lay the fact that I can't use such a device because it is so annoying.

u haven't explain ur issue clearly. ur phone memory is not displaying or it is displaying u cant move files? which file manager are u using? answer these.

u forgot to mention the battery issues. The only thing I love about the phone is fast Internet access and HD screen. I couldn't even subscribe to the mtn 1gb for 500.

did u at any point use guest mode? goto users in settings delete guest mode (if u used it) then reboot. i dont rate Es file explorer try file commander thats what i use and i move, delete, and copy files to phone memory without any problem.

No rooting is required. Just log on to Infinix Mobility website and go to the Support section to download the original ROM for your device and the follow come flashtool. They also have an instruction there too.

To reset to factory default, go to Settings and scroll down you will see Backup and Reset option select and you will see the Factory Reset option. Select to continue as required.

Are you saying your phone memory do not display on the laptop? If yes, when you connect to the laptop, do you see the USB option selector? You need to select an option to enable your laptop see your device. Try it and let us know the result.

Wow. I once used Infinix Zero 2 (With the same battery capacity) and the battery was nothing to write home about.
