abikubu: Croatia, Bosnia and Hezegovina etc,all resulted from the people rejection of Serbia and Belgrade dominion. Are you for real? Biafrans fought a war for three years and lost millions in effort to be free of the Arewa-Oduanistans burden in Nigeria. What other evidence do you want to show that Biafrans desire independent existence? Another Biafran war? 2 Likes |

pazienza: Which cave did you dust yourself off from? You live in the past. On 12 January 1970 Biafran Chief of Army Staff Major General Phillip Effiong surrendered to the Nigerian government, stating Biafra's physical and psychological surrender: "We are firm, we are loyal Nigerian citizens and accept the authority of the Federal Military Government. We accept the existing administrative and political structure of the federation of Nigeria. The Republic of Biafra hereby ceases to exist" 5 Likes 3 Shares |

theDEVILisHERE: The aim is the aim of all parasites. To scare the host from trying to fight it off. To force the host into submission. If only they( the parasites) know that such pictures only inspire Biafrans to never rest until Biafra is actualized. Those pictures inspire a sense of injustice, a sense of loss that must be regained, a sense of revenge, attrition and more hatred for Nigeria as an entity by Biafrans. Those pictures only serve to fuel the desire for Biafra, by reminding Biafrans of what our enemies are capable of, and why they must be defeated. 4 Likes 1 Share |

ayobabas: You need your head examined. Biafra lost the war. What did you expect Biafrans to do? Continue fighting when it was obvious that we were not just fighting Arewa-Oduanistans, but the British, USSR and the Egyptians? Of course, the war stopped, but that does not in any way mean that Biafrans accepted Nigeria. We just didn't have the wherewithal to sustain the war against such a formidable gang up of super powers. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Amansu: The US engineered nothing. Those ethnic nations in USSR were tired of Russia and Moscow domination. They wanted to control their own destinies, they wanted their own countries. They were only lucky that the US interest aligned with theirs. In case of Yugoslavia, those other ethnicities in Yugoslavia we're tired of Serbia and Belgrade control, they wanted their own independent countries, they were only lucky that the foreign power interest aligned with theirs, so they helped them. In the case of Biafra, the desire of Biafrans for independence was not in alliance with those of the Caucasian super powers, because : 1, the British had interests of exploiting the Eastern region crude oil wealth, it needed docile and subservient rulers to achieve that, Ojukwu and Biafrans are not known for being subservient, the British felt that the Arewa-Oduanistans were their best bet if they must control and exploit the Eastern region oil wealth and so pitched their tents with them. 2. Biafra is the Blackman challenge of the convention reached by Caucasian powers in Berlin 1885, if Biafra was allowed to secede, the rest of Africans might start questioning the Caucasian abominations called countries created at Berlin. Biafra would have sent a domino effect throughout Africa that might see the redrawing of the African countries map and see to the emergence of real nations build on mutual consent by component ethnic groups. This obviously didn't suit well into their( Caucasian powers) exploitation plans for Africans. Real strong African nations wouldn't be so easy to exploit, abominations and aberrations like Nigeria and the rest, are sitting ducks waiting for exploitation. 4 Likes 1 Share |

abikubu: France only gave partial help to Biafra, but withdrew from giving any help at all, when the British forced her to. The Caucasian powers are like wolves, once it comes to the affairs of the black, they hunt in pack. If Biafra got full military help from France throughout the war, the outcome of the war would have been different. Portugal helping Biafra? Where did you get that from? No such help came from Portugal. 4 Likes |

ayobabas: Lol! I never mentioned Niger delta in any of my post, as the term Niger delta is nebulous, ambiguous and dynamic. This was supposed to be a Biafran thread where Biafrans discuss about the greatness of Biafra, but here you are, an Arewa-Oduanistan, taking panadol over Biafrans problems. You should be asking yourself why you are not discussing about your Arewa-Oduanistan republic. *grins 2 Likes |

abikubu: Well, it is on record that the following countries supported Biafra during the civil war: France, Portugal, Czechoslovakia, South Africa, Spain, Israel etc along with a few other African countries. France and Israel were reported to have provided weapons to Biafra, while Portugal allowed them to use of the island of Sao Tome for relief flights and offered them arms. China, also denounced Nigeria and offered support to Biafra, though the nature of that support was not highlighted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War ; http://www./1968_biafra%20_report_by_american_jewish_congress.htm BIAFRA MILITARY 3 Likes |

pazienza: Are you so forgetful?! Typical no-hope biafran! Listen, Mr okoro, you referred to "Eastern Oil" as your oil even as far back as 1885 and Nigeria a parasite! Hausa, Yoruba and majority of Nigerians are happy being Nigerians and will not exchange their country for another. Neither are we interested in forming a new country out of Nigeria. Getting support from countries and getting direct full uninterrupted military support by way of constant supply of weapons and other logistics are two different things. Biafra received many moral supports from many countries, but military support? I nada. France was giving Biafra low grade military weapons at meagre quantities at the beginning, but quickly pulled out when the British forced her stand down, probably reminding her of their colonial pacts. Britain made it clear that keeping Nigeria one was its objective, the US said that a United Nigeria will serve the interest of USA better than a divided one, and so chose to look the other way and let Britain have her way. 1 Like |

ayobabas: Lol! Can you just highlight where in my post I called the Eastern oil wealth that of Igbos, even when I know that majority of the onshore oil wells are in Igbo speaking territories. Who are the "we" you speak of? "We" as in Arewa-Oduanistans? Of course I know you have no interest of forming New countries, since when has parasites started leaving their hosts without being forced out? Of course, you have no interest in staying on your own, you will be forced to stay on your own, on your Arewa-Oduanistan Islamic republic, by Biafrans. |

ayobabas: Your love for one Nigeria will not restore Awo's rat poison ravaged body back to life. It won't make the General condition of Yorubas better than those of Ndiigbo, despite your heist of the Nigerian economy right after the war. Most importantly, your affinity to one Nigeria will not stop Biafrans from getting Biafra in the end, neither will it stop you from getting your appropriate reward, which is Boko Islamic Sharia republic of Arewa-Oduanistan. Your hatred of Biafra or love for the colonial entity called Nigeria, will not stop any of the above. |
