Yorubas accuse Igbos of being too smart in business and therefore should not be trusted. The implication is that they unconsciously accept the Igbos as having superior IQ and business sense.

There is no law on this earth that prohibits free movement of people and participation in government. It takes a man of courage to venture into an unknown terrain and conquer it. The Chinese are doing it. The British, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese etc. did it. If the great Roman Empire hadn't ventured no one would have known they were great. Today many American businesses are located offshores in China, Saudi Arabia, Tokyo, United Arab Emirate and they are still venturing out to conquer unknown terrains.

For you to be great you have to venture out of your comfort zone. This is the true character of the ever industrious and peace-loving Great Igbo Nation. I have hundreds of Yoruba and Igbo friends. The plain truth is that most Yoruba people cannot be bothered about the success of any other ethnic group, as long as you do not disrespect them, or rub their faces in the mud. Many of them just want to get on with their lives.

For every area boy or miscreant in lagos, there is an equivalent cadre among the Bakassi boys or miscreants at Onitsha head bridge, market or other places in the South-East. For every failed alliance among the Yoruba, there are several equal number of betrayals among the Igbo. Tell me, what caused the fight between Cosmas Maduka of Coscharis and Ifeanyi Uba of Capital Oil? Who swindled whom?

And for every successful Igbo person in a particular field or industry, the Yoruba folks and other ethnic groups, also have an equally successful individual from their clan, to show for it.
