byrron:buhari problem dates back to the 80s and we were warning Nigerians about all this but majority of Nigerians took our warnings in bad faith. Now buhari and Nigeria are Been exposed internationally to the global audience . This problem will persist till 2019,sadly though 2 Likes |

tiwiex:Same question I've been asking. Pity,Nigerians themselves seem the main problem we have.Forming voltrons for every govt mistake/misstep,rather than rightly advising, questioning, critiquing and guiding. The NSA is among the president's delegation, why didn't he attend this meeting?.Clearly, this is supposed to be up his alley. 1 Like |

When we said this trip was a jamboree, some people did not let us rest.we have now been vindicated by this report from premium times.they were so busy laying emphasis on the lean delegation the president was taking to the u.n, they forgot the reason why they came there in the first place.this is a delegation that has a large number of security advisers but yet a meeting about boko haram is not important enough for them to attend? How else can we describe clueless? Mediocrity? U went to u.n no trade delegation followed u to see how we could sign some bilateral agreement which would create employment, trade and business oppurtunity? What will they say they have achieved now? The next 4years would be a waste, smh 4 Likes |

TonyeBarcanista: The biggest ridicule to a country is the one generated by its government and buhuri is doing so well on the ridicule sector. This is the second time buhuri will be exporting his un-serious, clownish and mediocre self to the US without any clear objective. Buhari should henceforth sit his sorry butt back home in Nigeria and allow his VP to represent Nigeria in all global meetings were people of high cerebral capacity converge to deliberate on Germaine global issues. 5 Likes |

Chigold101: The below should help. The meeting at which Nigeria was reportedly absent was not one the official events of the United Nations for which President Muhammadu Buhari and his modest delegation are in New York. |

Aside top UN and EU officials, as well as heads of international nongovernmental organisations who participated, the meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of Niger, Brigi Rafini and Chad’s Foreign Minister, Moussa Faki Mahamat. A brochure of the meeting listed “High level representation from the government of Nigeria” among the panelists expected to speak at the meeting. Can't you notice the nations attending the meeting, how can UN meeting be only attended by Niger and Chad, and u call it an official UN meeting? And Nigeria is expected to speak not scheduled to speak this finally confirmed it as unofficial. |

back2sender: Margaret Bassher of the UN was interviewed by Garba Umar of ChannelsTV newstrack today. She confirmed that the meeting was official and that the President was scheduled to be at the meeting. She was bemused at the fact that the President CANCELLED his appearance at the meeting shortly before it commenced. But you are just a stupid child i shouldn't have answered you... But still, lets leave it at that |

byrron:This is exactly buhari problem.he wont and can't delegate serious duties to messenger boy osinbajo because he doesn't trust him. We told Nigerians but they chose to ignore our warnings.during buhari term in 83 to 85,we hardly see buhari face .it was always idiagbon ,buhari only received visitors and guuests but all other government functions was under the control of idiagbon ,buhari was able to fo this and rely on idiagbon because they belonged to the same circle which is the military and which places high importance on Loyalty, idiagnon was a Muslim just like buhari and this made them understand each other a lot.but now buhari has a vice that was foisted on him by the party and certainly not his choice ,secondly messenger boy osinbajo is a Christian, another great minus for him. Buhari simply doesn't know who to trust .you will see the various squabbles that will ensue once ministers are appointed . Buhari doesn't feel confident when among a large group of intelligent technocrats hence he prefers to have a very small number of trusted aides to work with 1 Like |

Joy Ogwu; Nigeria Permanent Representative to the UN should be made to explain why that meeting wasn't put on the list of crucial meetings to be attended by Mr. President! So she she be recalled and replaced by a more competent person. May be someone else represented the country. |
