@Bubsykay. That is what I think too. I had a similar result.. At least a band score of 8 in three of the modules but a band 6.5 in one module and an overall score of 8.0. I don't like writing an exam for the same purpose more than once; but, I guess I have to make an exemption with this one. I am waiting for my ECA report. I may write the exam again during my leave IF I don't get a PN before then. In my opinion, Enquiry on Result is like a waste of time, money and effort. Conduct a thorough search online and you will find that the likelihood of candidates getting a higher score is less than 10%. But then, you can just be part of the <10%. Best of luck! 1 Like 1 Share |

Joshcoli: I received it in the mail yesterday, so I don't know how to check online. Note: I do not live in Nigeria. Etfash: Its just annoying thou! Read a blog where someone said he decided to state the purpose of test as Personal and change his test center on his third attempt and he make a very good result. the test is marked locally at the centers and marking a writing test can be subjective. Might let go of mine but my wife isn't gonna let go. anyway, we see how it goes. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone, I have some issues from the cic website. Even though my job specification falls under one of those listed and I have met all other criteria like work hours and education, I got an eligibility test result of being ineligible. They, however told me I could still go ahead to apply. What are my chances in this case? More so, how can you make the minimum 67 without a relative or job offer in canada, since these two are listed among the areas of scoring? 3 Likes 1 Share |

bubsykay: If your score is the first above then don't bother asking for a writing remark because it won't make much difference to your CRS score since you scored 7.5 in your listening, besides like what Etfash said, the overturn percentage is very low. Furthermore I don't think it's advisable to select personal when re-writing your IELTS, this is because as this is express entry where everything is now done electronically, CIC now checks directly with ielts online to confirm your results. Therefore if you didn't choose Canada as the purpose of writing your exam I'm not sure IELTS will give CIC access to this info. Just my 2 cents. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

I'll check with my PFA, but I THINK it should be acceptable. What I've done so far is to withdraw from my AVC (just to prove that the funds can be accessed) and continue with my monthly deductions. Then if and when I get my ITA I'll request for my AVC statement (stamped and signed) together with a letter stating that the funds can be accessed and linking that to the most recent withdrawal from it. Just my thoughts though Joshcoli: |

SINP seem to have reached their threshold...that's the message those who wanna submit now are getting. One of the most tedious application process I've ever seen in my life 1 Like |

JesusDWay: @ JesusDWay if WES evaluates OND and HND as you have written above, does this mean that it would fall under Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years (119 points...level of education) |

JesusDWay: I've been on this WES issue for a long time. I initially sent my HND to WES but they sent me a mail that my evaluation is not complete without the OND (this is after a long time) I later sent my OND transcript earlier this year. According to them my school has not still responded. So my advice is if you're sending HND please so it alongside with OND 1 Like 1 Share

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by twaj: 11:20am On Sep 27, 2015 |
bukolaben: Simple! Let her speedily forward the passport photograph to AVO with additional note that she forgot to include it in the first package. She does not need to wait any longer. AVO will definitely still request for the passport photograph anyway...but let be proactive by sending it immediately. Remember to include your application number and UCI number and probably the email sent by AVO requesting for those document. 3 Likes |

Joshcoli: Well....i suppose this is exclusive to you. Actually, they did state it categorically on their website that both ND and HND transcripts and certificate is required for them to be able to do the evaluation but, i suppose they should personally communicate with the person who omitted something in what he's supposed to submit. If they don't contact him then he should keep watching his status on his account and if it doesn't change, he should arrange for the ND to be sent. I've however read of a situation where someone's foreign masters was used to start the evaluation, they didn't wait for his Bsc from Naija and when he saw they started it, he told them his Bsc is yet to to get to them and they replied saying they feel the evaluation will be faster as the highest qualification is what they will base their summary on and that if he still wants to add the Bsc, then no worries, just that it will delay. You are however right, we should do it right |

Is the 3.6m in ur AVC or RSA? I doubt if you can use the RSA as pof (I've assumed u r under 50 years of age) since you can't access the funds until you retire. But again never say never. Let us know if it works for you ejirostephen: |

Pls house has anyone with CLB 6 eligible in d express entry pool? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by zandora: 3:20pm On Sep 27, 2015 |
kunle16: Please see below. 1 $11,931 2 $14,853 3 $18,260 4 $22,170 5 $25,145 6 $28,359 7 or more $31,574 Therefore for a single applicant you need $11,931 Canadian which is equivalent to N1,779,260 as at today's exchange rate. You need to show 6 months bank statement but the money doesn't need to be in your account for the full 6 months. However any large inflow into your account within the 6 months needs to be explained and backed up by the proper documentation, therefore it's advisable for the funds to be in your account for the full 6 months to avoid complications. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Ekicedar: With a CLB level 6 you do not qualify for the FSW stream via the Express Entry this is because in order to qualify you need a minimum of CLB level 7 which is equivalent to IELTS band 6 in each category. However you should aim to score higher in your IELTS ie 7,7,7 and 8 in listening if order to maximise your chances in the pool as a 6 band across will only give you the minimum score. The difference between scoring R6,W6,S6,L6 and R7,W7,S7L,8 or the highest score R8,W7.5,S7.5,L8.5 would be up to 118 points. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Which CLB is this IELTS result Listening: 6.0 Reading: 7.5 Writing: 6.0 Speaking: 7.0 Overall: 6.5 |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by zandora: 4:08pm On Sep 27, 2015 |
Ekicedar: Listening 6 - CLB level 7 Reading 7 - CLB level 9 Writing 6 - CLB level 7 Speaking 6.5 - CLB level 8 From the results above, your language score has qualified you for FSW but your CRS score in language is only 88 if single or 83 if married out of the maximum 136. As you've lost significant points in language (a CLB level 9 all through would have also awarded you up to an additional 50 points under skill transferability and foreign work experience), if you don't have a PNP or LMIA you will need to retake the test to improve your CRS score. Please see the link below for the conversion of IELTS to CLB. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp 9 Likes 5 Shares |
