Dbanj should just forget about this guy. I hate pride angry

You Hate Pride right!

Baba na baba anyday..

When D'banj was gallivanting and throwing shoulders and running to America to meet Kanye West, hin no know say hin go come back abi?

That time you didn't hate pride!

Now Don jazzy is having his time, all of a sudden you hate pride.

I hate Disloyalty.. I hate betrayal..

D'Banj wasn't loyal to The Don himself.

D'Banj betrayed Trust, he betrayed friendship, such sours take a very long time to heal if they ever heal..

.

If the table was turned and dbanj was making hit songs instead of don jazzy, will he be calling him out as an old friend on stage? Why all this sentiments? You dont mix business with pleasure.

- First, let me make one thing clear to you. Jazzy and D'banj have been friends since their teenage years. They both co-founded Mo'hit record. Jazzy was in charge of making beats while D'banj was the songwriter, singer and the face of the music label - division of labor. Without D'banj, Jazzy wouldn't be known because singers are more known than those working behind the scene. D'banj was very eager to push Jazzy out in the open from behind the scene. Do you still remember "Don Jazzy again!", D'banj created that phrase for selfless reason to make Jazzy popular like him. During the Mo'hit era, he always wanted Jazzy on the stage with him, even though he wasn't supposed to do so. They were so close. Even after their split, D'banj still invited Jazzy on the stage sometimes when he's singing a song he made with him, just to show respect!

So in all fairness, they both helped each other's success. Don Jazzy didn't make hit songs, he helped make hit songs! He didn't write D'banj songs, and without D'banj, Jazzy won't be known and loved the way he's today. D'banj also assisted in the making some of the beats in his songs.

Second, D'banj would have done the same if the table was turned. A good guy is a good guy no matter what side he finds himself. There's no way Jazzy would call him on stage and he won't respond. D'banj is the matured one here and his actions show it. Jazzy has always been happy to accept D'banj's invitation on stage before, but what happened this time was unfortunate. Jazzy is just a sad and immature boy! If he didn't want to be invited on stage again, he would have informed D'banj privately than to embarrass him in public for showing respect! That was so mean, rude and childish! I've just lost all respect for Jazzy.

Dbanj and Don jazzy can go to club, play video games at home, eat together , Thats what friends do. But anything that has to do with music, is business for don jazzy. Thats how its suppose to be.

- So now he remembered it's business? D'banj didn't call him on stage because he couldn't sing or entertain anymore, or to come produce a free beat for him. D'banj wasn't begging him for any free favor! He only invited him on stage as a respect to an old friend! How is that a bad thing? D'banj and Jazzy don't do things together anymore as friends and business partners. So whenever they meet by mistake, D'banj is always the bigger and mature one that tries to interact with him for old time sake.

All this noise about dbanj and international star is rubbish. Trust me those international stars that made him leave mo hits must be wondering what happened to dbanj. They have seen the secrete behind his music. Its just like when samson was shaved, his power was in his hair. They have shaved dbanjs hair and his power is gone. Donjazzy is to dbanj what samsons hair was to him.

Dbanj is of no value to them anymore. He is just living on faded glory. The worst part is that he is no longer valueable both locally and internationally. He now has to force himself to be relevant. Even pay foreign celebs money to come be with him in naija to make him relevant.

- D'banj is a big international star. He's above Jazzy's league. No Nigerian musician both dead and alive achieved more than D'banj. Just in the last 2+ years, after the Mo’hit split;

1. D’banj signed a mega multi-million naira deal with Globacom.
2. He became One Campaign Ambassador.
3. His hit song ‘Cocoa Na Chocolate’ was used by One Campaign in support of agriculture investments. 'Cocoa Na Chocolate' featured 18 other African artists (the only African artist to do so) and won Best African Collaboration at the All Africa Music Awards in 2014.
4. He also won World Music Award in Monaco.
5. His hit song “Top of The World” was the theme song for Nations Cup which he performed live in the finals.
6. He was the only Nigeria artist to have performed at BBC Hackney Weekend Festival
7. He was selected as Ambassador for Bank of Industry (BOI).
8. He signed to Mercury Records an American-based record label owned by Universal Music Group.
9. He signed deal with Sony Music an American music corporation managed and operated by Sony Corporation of America (SCA).
10. He also headlined Hennessy Artistry alone which gave him opportunity to travel to France to create his own brand of Hennessy.
11. He’s the official African Ambassador for Ciroc Nigeria. Ciroc maker, Diageo, has a 50/50 deal with P. Diddy (Puff Daddy) for U.S. market.
12. D'banj is also the brand Ambassador of SLOT, a popular mobile phone, and electronic gadget retail outfit.
13. He is also Nigeria's first United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace.
14. Best of all the biggest endorsement in the history of Nigeria and Africa, Apple, an American multinational technology giant, named D'banj African Ambassador of Beats by Dre.
15. D'banj is the founder of Koko Foundation for Youth and Peace Development, a humanitarian organization.

Recently, he was applauded by World Bank Chief, Jim Yong Kim for using his music power and high celebrity status to bringing attention to serious and critical issues in Africa with special focus on agriculture and poverty alleviation. Jim Yong Kim was quoted saying that "I had the pleasure of meeting D’banj last month and seeing him perform. I’m thrilled he is the first artists to take part in our new Music4Dev series encouraging global artist to raise awareness about poverty and related issues”.

D'banj is big, really big today and Don Jazzy knows it. He's pi*ssed because he's no more living off D'banj's huge success like a parasite.
What has Jazzy achieved since the split? He only made few good beats and became backup singer to almost all the local Nigerian musicians. Nothing much is going on for Jazzy! He should be very happy that a big star like D'banj even cared to invite him on stage!

Don jazzy saw the future while dbanj was carried away. He told him, there is no place like home. These western celebs you see, have a different culture than us. You cant fit in.

- You've no clue what you're talking about. Jazzy didn't see shi*t, if he did, he would have done everything humanly possible to keep working with D'banj. D'banj made a very smart decision to go international and he's reaping his hard work today big time!

What brought you to the top is our home grown local lyrics. Dont abandon it for awana gonna. Dbanj called him a local champion and decided to go with the western world.

- Yes, D'banj became the local champion and didn't want to be local champion for the rest of his life. That's how great achievers think. He conquered Nigerian and African market and moved ahead with his intercontinental quest. That's how big boys play.

Donjazzy as a relentless manufacturer, returned back to the home soil to source raw talent that he uses. Just like a gold smith.

- Yes, Jazzy return home because that's where he belongs and that's where he ends as a local champion beat maker and backup singer. Such people slow great achievers like D'banj down. The split was a huge blessing to D'banj. He's very comfortable where he's today.

Today, what has happened. The west has used dbanj and dumped him in the trash. He has lost both home and abroad.

- You already know who's bigger today. I've listed D'banj's achievements since the split, please list Don Jazzy's achievements or be quiet in your ignorance!

Imagine if dangote abandoned africa to do business in America.

- You think Dangote doesn't have business in the West? Boy, have you been living in a cave or something? Great achievers cross boundaries.

It is better to be named as richest in africa than a regular business man in america. You can do collabo with them like psquare wizkid etc have done but dont leave home.

- D'banj is big locally and internationally, that's how big boys in entertainment business play. He's smart and challenges himself, that's why he's very successful. He goes big and hard at the same time! He doesn't need small achievers and those who don't have foresight around him.

dbanj is now an outcast. Rejected by the west and your own people. I feel his pain.

- A "rejected person by the West and home" cannot achieve so many in a short time! D'banj is loved both at home and abroad! I know your fanatic mentality for Jazzy would block your reasoning. I'll still remind you that D'banj is doing far more better than Don Jazzy. The evidence is very clear!
So, you should feel bad for yourself because D'banj is doing great, smiling to his bank and very rich, while you, an unknown pauper here on NL blindly praising a small achiever, like you! Can a poor church rat feel bad for someone for being successful?

Its time to hang the boot and focus on farm. Maybe he can find raw talented cassava for garri.lol

- It's time for you to keep quiet on things you've no clue about and go work hard for yourself. D'banj is a musician and a businessman who has vast business interests, including in cassava business. Only a fool who has never achieved anything in his life or never owned a business would mock him for investing in cassava business. You've no clue that agriculture is a huge multi-billion naira business, especially, cassava which is the number 1 staple food in West African.
It's funny to see someone who takes great pride in being ignorant.

Muheeehehehehehe.. Who owns the track, my woman? Patoranking. Lemme ask you, how many of Wande's personal song, not the ones he was featured, has enjoyed as much success as Bumper to Bumper and many other tracks of his under Mo'hits?

Now on Dbanj matter, SA adores Dbanj, no doubt but why do they adore him? Do you think its cuz of his present flops? Or cuz of his past hits with Jazzy? Your guess is as good as mine. DBanj attained the so-called international status while working with Jazzy, and he hasn't even been able to live up to expectation while don jazzy his been moving from strength to strength.

Maybe you'd still tell me that Jazzy wasn't/isn't behind Dr. Sid's success too (someone who moved from being a relatively unknown rapper to a super star in mo'hits record).

Even his own brother, Dprince that has zero musical talent has become a superstar too and you people keep downplaying this man's efforts.

Which year did dbanj attain such fit of being the highest selling African artist and with which album/track, when Davido and Wizkid no dey sleep?

Nigerians don't value dbanj any longer because he no longer makes either good or danceable songs. Feeling the nigger was another crap dropped off like the numerous craps after the split. Even with Akron on the song, he still couldn't make it a massive hit.

Haven't you noticed that dbanj needs to feature US based artists to stay relevant these days? He has probably featured over 20 US based artists/superstars and still flops. There's one of his track he featured about 7 US based superstars on a track (i call that track, "I must sell by force" ) and it still flopped. On the other hand, people run to Marvin crew and don jazzy to get them to be featured.
Bro Google is just at your fingertip, you can simply search for african's highest selling artist of 2014.

If D'banj could achieve that prestigious feat we can no longer argue who was more successful between he and Don Jazzy last year. He doesn't need don jazzy!

cheesy D BANJ begging DONJAZZY

Showtime People »
I planned a song with Don Jazzy before 2Face begged us – D’banj
October 03, 2015 at 8:40 pm in Showtime People FacebookTwitterSMSWhatsApp
By Ayo Onikoyi
Popular singer and entertainer, D’banj has said that even before iconic songster, 2Face Idibia pleaded with him and his former partner, Don Jazzy to come back together and give fans one more hit, they already had something like that planned.

Dbanj
In an exclusive chat with Potpourri, D’banj enthused, ‘Glo has said they will sponsor it, even before 2Face begged us. We’re already working on something great that you guys will love; and I guarantee you will hear it very soon.
I believe that with 2Face saying it that day, it represents the voice of the people. You have to also know that since it’s my 10th year anniversary, it’s also Don Jazzy’s 10th year as well. Don Jazzy is my brother now when it comes to endorsement as Diageo endorsed him too. We can even go on a tour together; what do you think?’
On how he feels when people turn out en-masse to embrace him on the streets, he said, ‘I feel humbled. I mean it’s always like a dream, especially when you know that everything you’ve done is from God, and I always give thanks to God.
I always pray that anytime I come out, it should be better than the last. When I went to Computer Village and everybody came out, it felt surreal. Some came with paintings of me, some were crying; I just felt humbled that I have to keep on doing whatever brought me here. And I will continue even in another 20 years.’
