davodyguy:If your company is a well established company you would not be needing a bank statement of your own when you are being sponsored by such company. But from your narration and the figure that you give it is clear that your company is somehow struggling one. It is difficult to give you advice merely based on the information that you provided: one would ask if what is the N5m for and how can you prove that you have access to the money. Well to be honest, i doubt that a visa will be issued to an employee of a company that can only boast of N5m. |

Vicjustice:Not really. That's just one of the accounts. The company has well over 5 different accounts as an organization established since 1973 and one of the biggest brand name in the sector they belong to. My question is should I include or not include? Note the inclusion is just to prove my ties with Nigeria that as an individual, one is doing well in his own right and doesn't need to abscond and start hustling |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 1:08am On Sep 28, 2015 |
davodyguy:Well, it won't hurt to include your bank statements but yet, your job should make a better tie than your bank statements. And like i said: "If your company is a well established company you would not be needing a bank statement of your own when you are being sponsored by such company" |

hello, I went for the russian student visa interview on Wednesday and during the interview, the consular asked what my best subject was which I answered geography. .he den proceeded in asking me the capitals of some countries like Australia and Egypt which I couldn't answer, the one I thought I answered correctly was brazil which I said was rio de janeiro and it turns out to be wrong too. All other questions pertaining to my travel was answered correctly but am worried if my inability to answer those questions might jeopardise my visa application. .we were asked to come back for how passport on monday. What do u guys think? should I be worried cos av even paid for the school fees |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 3:01pm On Oct 10, 2015 |
faladino:It is hard to tell whether your wrong answers would have negative impact on your application or not because, i don't know the relevance of the questions to your intended course: it would have been a different thing if you failed to answer questions that have to do with the structure of the course. There's no point to be anxious now, and no answer can change the outcome, so, just wait and see. |

Vicjustice: Good morning, I really appreciate ur responce. .the questions have no relevance to the course am going to study but ure right, no need to be anxious. .will know what's up tomorrow after collecting my passport |

please, i need assistance on this questions, 1. if one is denied a schengen visa, France precisely, how many months interval can one reapply for another schengen country? 2. being denied a schengen visa, does it really matters when applying for UK visa, what are the chances and in how many months intervals too? |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Adolfstan: 3:31pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
I recently applied for a schengen business visa at the German Embassy in Nigeria and my application was rejected, reasons based on number 8 and 9. That my information on the intention and purpose of stay is not reliabe, and the intention to leave the member state before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained. Though I submitted all the required documents during my interview. But one thing the officer asked me was my wedding and family pictures which I did not present, even as I have presented my Marriage Certificate issued by Marriage Registry. I want to file an appeal (remonstration) to be submitted in person at the embassy, what should be my supporting documents, and secondly, am I to submit photocopies of the supporting documents or the originals? Please I really need your opinion. |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 11:31am On Oct 21, 2015 |
Adolfstan:If you're appealing the decision, the question is; on what ground are you making the appeal? You would need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Visa Officer's decision is unjustifiable and is flawed, otherwise, you would only be wasting your time. |

Vicjustice:@Please I need your advice. I was denied a study visa for two reasons. 1)You have not justified your purpose or conditions of intended stay. 2)there is reasonable doubt as to your intention to leave thhe territory before the expiry of the visa. I want to apply afresh but with these two things in mind what should I do? What is proof enough? My parents marriage certificate or what? I am confused. |

Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 11:48pm On Oct 23, 2015 |
superduperjay:Usually, school fees are refundable if you request/apply for the refund within their given period, so, your money can't be lost. |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by superduperjay: 12:51am On Oct 24, 2015 |
Vicjustice:so you don't think I should reapply?v |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by superduperjay: 12:52am On Oct 24, 2015 |

Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 9:04am On Oct 24, 2015 |
superduperjay: superduperjay:It would be hard to get a student visa without full or reasoable commitment to the school which is the basis for your visa application. One thing is certain, you will get your money back, but I advise you to check the school's refund policy for the terms and conditions. |

Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by Vicjustice: 4:59pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
superduperjay:More or less so. First of all, it will serve as a significance of the seriousness of your intention, and also, it can be seen as an indication that you are financially ok in your country thus reducing the risk of staying in Poland after your study. But it will be great if you have other obligations to return to Nigeria for. |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by superduperjay: 5:16pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
Those other obligations are what I meant because of all the people refused visa I was the only one that didn't pay school fees. Others had paid their school fees 3Keuros, 6keuros someone even paid full 14k Euros but was still denied on the same basis that I was too. Hence the confusion and worry.quote author=Vicjustice post=39319449] More or less so. nwank85:Can something that is unjustifiable be justified? Your question is as good as asking how a house tenant can justify that he owns the house. |
Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by nwank85(f): 9:57pm On Oct 26, 2015 |
Vicjustice:@ Vicjustice, thank you for your response. I perfectly understood your message, so what is your advice? For further clarification, my husband lectures in one of the Federal Universities in Nigeria and he got a scholarship to study at the UK; sponsored by the UK govt. There is need for me to get to see him soon. so, what do u advise me to do? Thanks |
