Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in an event, chided religious leaders over their comments about Boko-Haram. He said this, in response to a comment made by Catholic Bishop of Kafachan, Kaduna State, Rev. Joseph Bagobiri.

Bagobiri blamed prominent Northern leaders like General Ibrahim Babangida for the spread of Boko-Haram. He said Babangida and other Muslim clerics refused to condemn the group's actions, until massive damage had been done.

In his response, Osinbajo said “Muslim and Christian leaders must know something; It is our duty not to pursue wrong narratives. For Christians, it is our duty to ensure that we do not create further divisions by our words. Jesus Christ did not come to establish religion. Men did that."

Adding that “We must recognise that the first order for the church is unity. That also applies for our nation. Our nation is divided and it has been so for long. It is divided along religious and tribal line. The moment we are divided, nothing works. We must speak about the unity of our country as we speak about the unity of the church."

“The North East is where I have traveled to. I have seen the dead, wounded and the sick. These victims are in their hundreds and they were Muslims and Christians. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/09/vice-president-osinbajo-blasts.html#sthash.nFCLGEL9.dpuf

Unfortunately, Yemi Osinbajo didn't addressed the points of the Bishop. Yemi was only political! We all know that only very minute Northern leaders and clerics spoke against BH under GEJ, some even fight the army, while Majority were blaming government or advocating for amnesty. Christian leaders on the GEJ other hand were very vocal and even challenged their muslim counterparts.

You called an old man, a former commissioner, an accomplished lawyer, a proud father, a loving husband, a renowed pastor, an upright man and vice president a babyboy ?

Can you please list your father's achievement for us to see whether he even deserve to be called a babyboy by your own standard ?

Some of you here are just unbelievably stuupid !

If they had reacted early to the menace of boko haram, hand shake wouldn't have turned to full hug now.

Osinbajo is aptly on point

Don't mind them. They do not care to know that. Many islamic scholars have died as a result of this boko issue, one of them is sheik Albani Zaria, just because he was condeming and preaching against them.
We have told them severally that islam does not preach this that bokoharam is doing, but they would'nt listen and won't stop shouting 'blood sucking religion'. I guess thatz what they are being told every sunday in the church.
