Been getting PMs asking about info for medical schools in Canada.
I don't know so much about it, but I think you have to get a canadian degree first before you can think about medical school. Some medical schools accept only canadian citizens or PRs

I'm taking the MPH program and a number of my coursemates intend to get into medical school after they are done with MPH. They would have to write some exams.

Fresh out from a secondary school in Nigeria, it's not possible to get into medical school in Canada **I stand to be corrected** I know ppl doing programs like BSc Nursing Sci in Canada and intend to get into medical school later.

I don't know so much and this topic has not been really discussed on NL, you can check d links below:

What will be your best answer for the question below:

Financial Support at Dalhousie:
Indicate the expected source and amount of funds for your graduate studies.
Please describe how you expect to fund your graduate program.
(Applicants will not be considered without this information).
Visa students must provide proof of sponsorship, if applicable.

When you have either your brother, mummy or expecting to apply for a scholarship. Knowing that you have the requirements to apply for the scholarship.

This question really need an answer. Your reply will be highly n extremely appreciated

You're over 30 years old, you're working, but your dad and sis will be sponsoring you. There may be a problem.

1. I hope there's a progression in the course you studied (UG) + your role in your current employment + the course you wanna study in Canada.

2. I hope you have something to show for the work you've been doing for over 3 years......things like landed properties, fixed/current assets etc

3. The leave letter is not compulsory, but please ensure you get the introduction letter, it speaks volume.

4. If you have saved up enough money which will be sufficient for your tuition+living+ miscellaneous expenses in Canada, I will advise you just sponsor yourself, or if you're married, ur spouse can sponsor/co-sponsor you.
But if that is not possible, I will advise you move enough funds from your sister's account to your dad's account and to your own personal account, and have just 1 sponsor or you be the co sponsor.

Please don't get me wrong, it is not bad that your sis or/and dad wanna sponsor you, but age is against you, and you're working......so if I were to be the VO, I would question what u've been doing with your money, and probably conclude your job is not paying enough, so yoi wanna try your luck in Canada.

I wish you all the best.

Lol! You asked because you don't know, and you don't know not because you're dumb, but just because you dont know!
You can get your statement of result from the school you finished Sec Skul, and support it with your waec result. If you'll need to send hard copies, then you should consider sending notarized copies, so you won't lose your original credentials.
But you should ask the school first.

I wish you good luck

Hello Guys,
I've read a lot through the posts but I couldn't quite find a definite answer to my question, which is; is it too late to start January entry application by mid November?
That's when my school transcript would be ready.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, except you have your Study Permit already....but if you're just gonna apply for study permit.....I'm afraid it's late. It's late to apply for study permit by mid November for winter intake, talk less of applying for admission......except you just get lucky or favored

@domex007, medicine is a second degree in Canada, which means that for the most part you can only apply to medical school after you get your BSc. To find out more, a quick Google search will do you some good.

@kushner, same advice as above to you. Please closely acquaint yourself with Google. smiley

deedee0, lol @ the shoutout. As far as I know, all the info provided in your post is right. @domex007 and @kushner will be able to find the right info quickly with some Google searches... info on medical education in Canada is all online and is very well organized.

Hi thesoj,ayooluwatonii

is it compulsory that I include my payment receipt as part of my application documents for visa. My bank said that it will take them 3 days to source for dollars for me(form A route). Deadline for payment from the school is October 5. Do I go on to submit the other documents without waiting for the payment receipt?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by thesoj: 7:20am On Sep 28, 2015
Wait for the receipt... the payment deadline is just a few days away... no point rushing to submit your TRV app if you increase your likelihood of denial.

ok. I really do not k now much about access bank. I used standard chartered and they gave me the option of paying less than 5000 dollars. thi stratedgy made me transfer in two trenches. I wud advice u to ask them at access bank if they can allow u to transact lower than 5k. if it is lower than 5k they dont need cbn approval as I was told and that was how I did my own. The approval might not come in time due to the new forex policy in place. This is my advice. I hope this helps.
