hahaha, please don't mind it. I received the update from a website, when I clicked, I was redirected to play store only for me to discover that I was downloading apus launcher. I just deleted it with anger but not to worry, marshmallow update will reach us first before anyone else! Keep up the faith

The latest version Kingroot V 4.5.0.902 ...

I posted on the infinix bbs website and i was told no option available for now..

but a user got root after flashing the rom without taking any ota updates,but after taking the update he couldn't get root with the same kingroot..

so i guess its the ota update that locked some things up.

PS:- i took the ota update of 34 mb after flashing the lollipop rom.

guyz pls i nid 2 gt sumfin straight....i thought android one only mk 4 prmpt updates (android os). i.e it enable u update to d latest os or does it min dt wen u update 2 se android 5.1 or 6.0 ur device ceases to b an androidone device?

Android one is not the name of the OS.. the phone comes with the stock android lollipop 5.1 as designed by google...The other is an android lollipop 5.1 by Infinix....don't expect marshmallow on it...except Infinix decides to do otherwise.... I don't know it all tho...

@carlcaresophia.....can ur care center change ma hot 2 OS to infinix xui rom for 5.1
