all4naija: Who told you a man is my nightmare You say I'm quick to generalize men but I haven't. This thread is about misogynistic men. If you are not misogynistic then clap for yourself. You are a decent human being. If you believe that a woman is a slave to you then this thread is for you. |

all4naija: Has it ever occurred to you that since this is my first thread, I don't know how to change it? I've been trying to for some time now. I don't see the need for insult. And when I created this thread, I asked for constructive discussion. Aand what I've gotten from you and @pinceprinz is prayer that I will fail in life, be divorced, move to Jupiter, sleep my way to the top, not find anybody to marry me, be a slave if I want to marry, be objectified, and I've been told that I can't differentiate between a snake and an eel. All of this because I'm a woman who wants to achieve and have a name in the future the same way any man would want to achieve. God punish the both of you |

@ BeastOfNoNation What kind of man would you like to get married to? Let me put it properly. What kind of man are you going to marry? |
Re: Why Are Some Nigerian Guys So Misogynistic? by BeastOfNoNation(f): 3:52am On Sep 29, 2015 |
all4naija: I'm becoming emotional? I'm being humble as I'm hearing your immature comments. I'm pointing out the kind of abuses you've been throwing my way. I'm not going to sink to your level and start insulting people and cursing people I've never met. How can you tell someone she will divorce while she is still pregnant? Have I become your enemy that you will be wishing for these kind of things on me? Did I say you should be rendered impotent and live in a constant state of poverty for the rest of your life because I disagree with your point of view? I'm holding myself now because God knows I won't be banned from Nairaland on my first thread. 1 Like |

all4naija: An independent man whose manhood is not easily threatened by a working and goal driven woman. A man who also has goals to achieve and a name to make for himself. A husband who respects me the way I respect him. Understands that YES I'm a woman but that doesn't mean my brain is working at half capacity. A man who is my best friend and loves me the way I love him. Gbam. Is anything I wished for impossible? 1 Like |

BeastOfNoNation: Ok ok now let me take it one step at a time To change the topic, Go back to your profile, click on this very thread, brings you back to page zero , scroll down your supporting write up and click on modify. On clicking modify, brings you to that write-up page where you'll be able to change your topic to suit warever Is this discussion not constructive enough? I mean you dot expect éveryone to share your thoughts on a thread this controversial. That we actually sounded metaphorical don't amount to insult sweet! We were only trying to make our point sink into your big head suffering from high degree af entropy You know what? We're MEN ! The dominant specie, the alpha positive, the rugged and we RuLE the world cos I ts our birth right. Now, that doesn't mean you don't have the right to be warever u wanna be as a woman, but warever you are or u become will / should be to support / complement warever the man has already visualized /created 1 Like |

BeastOfNoNation:Yes, you did in your prior post. You can't deny that. After all you claim to be a feminist. Nevertheless, I am not against fighting for gender equality but trying to use feminism as an avenue to have your way through is going to be difficult and may cause you more emotional harm like we've just witnessed in your previous comment. Oh, my goodness! So you take the divorce part of my earlier post very serious when you know it is part of the arguments. Excepting you aren't willing to face reality of defending what you advocate for. It takes all those to be what you have to fight for in the course of your movement. Nobody is going to hand the rights to you on a platter of gold. You must be strong and daring to take them. Come on, lady, go and fight for your rights - the rights of gender equality not feminism! 1 Like |

BeastOfNoNation:That is so wonderful. A perfect man in a real world indeed! No, it is not! That wish is not impossible at all. One thing I am skeptical of is that it looks more of a fantasy than reality of the world we live in. It is not going to be easy to come by but it is very possible! 1 Like |

BeastOfNoNation:Okay! That makes a lot of sense. You are a very smart lady and I don't know why you have to choose feminism over gender equality. Perhaps you would have to read more on it to have a better understanding of the ideology. 1 Like |
