This story is incomplete. What are the bail conditions? Obviously he is being taken to prison from the court.

U guys should go nd read instedd of coming to a public forum to dis how shalow minded u are. Freedom of speech isn't absolute. There are restrictions. It doesn't guarantee libelious publication against other party.

Freedom of speech does not mean that you can deliberately publish a lie against somebody.

It is such a shame that 95% of people on this thread think libel is a criminal offence. Are you people illiterates or just dumb?

Anybody can say anything as long as you are not shouting fire in an airport or instigating violence.

If anyone feels aggrieved by a story, then the right thing is to go to civil court and sue for defamation/libel. The police have no business arresting a citizen journalist.

Even Jonathan did not do this.

I'm sure you actually don't understand that the concept of "freedom of speech" has limits? For your information, this has actually gravitated to what i call deformation of character, he deserves to be arrested. Imagine if you were in her shoes as the wife of the Governor, and someone posted a video on major social media platforms about your "leaked sex video", how will you feel.

This niggar lost his freedom of speech when he refused to verify his news before publication. Good for him tongue tongue tongue. All bloggers should verify first before publication.

I know this guy personally, for him to have written such article there is truth in it and the governor is just too scared to face the truth

He is not the only one that was arrested one senator too got a blogger arrested and celebrated it on facebook even amosun's social media officer damola also did the same thing

Amosun is a failed government
steffans:
Other bloggers should learn from dis..

Inasmuch as, he might be right about the governor's wife.. Can he back his claims with facts?

99% of Nigerian bloggers are copy and paste scam artists.

Deal with him.

How come he was the only one that had the info? Even PDP sponsored media (Breaking Times or whatever) did not have it. That shows his story is suspect. Bloggers will do almost anything to gain traffic. Now this blogger has bitten more than he can chew.

Even if he got firsthand info with picture evidence, he should have sold the news to a proper news agency. SaharaReporters and Premium Times would publish it without fear and he will get paid. But no, he just had to try his luck publishing unconfirmed stories without evidence. I hope his ordeal won't be too much to bear. So sorry for him.
