Now ministerial list is out though the list is masked, market activities showing negative divergence. >>>we may not have ministers till november because another fresh conflict is likely to evolve within the ruling party as regards the list which will pull the approval by the authority. #what's next dear investors |

What do we have to say about Investing in the N100 Billion Commercial Paper of Nigeria Brewery Plc. I think the return should be higher than treasury bill. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by manie(m): 7:42pm On Sep 29, 2015 |
9free:I receive that IJN. It is a money market investment, getting a guarateed return of about 15% in 9 months from an A-list companyis not a bad idea. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by joseph1013: 7:50pm On Sep 29, 2015 |
manie:15% in 9 months? Isn't that rather too small? 750k for #5 million naira in 9 long months? Well, multiple streams of income. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by manie(m): 8:05pm On Sep 29, 2015 |
joseph1013:Multiple streams of income is the best way to build a lasting wealth, get dividends from your stocks, interests on your savings, rental income from your houses, profits from businesses, treasury bills and bond. 15% guaranteed returns on a short term investment is okay, but a dividend yield of 15% is better. 4 Likes 1 Share |

joseph1013:hi, 15% pa for 9months on N5M is less than 750k. Emphasis is on 9months whilst per annum is 12months. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ronkuns: 12:05am On Sep 30, 2015 |
RichYoungRuler:Isn't it subject to WHT? If yes, then it is actually an effective return of 13.5%. Save for diversified income stream and of course a relatively more guaranteed return, I think the JIJO masters can deliver that in less than 2months. 1 Like |

From Investopedia 'DEFINITION OF 'COMMERCIAL PAPER' An unsecured, short-term debt instrument issued by a corporation, typically for the financing of accounts receivable, inventories and meeting short-term liabilities. Maturities on commercial paper rarely range any longer than 270 days. The debt is usually issued at a discount, reflecting prevailing market interest rates". Please note the 270 days (9 months) |

Elai147:That is why you have to consider the credit rating of Nigerian Brewery and the pedigree of the majority shareholder ie Heineken, most of the international credit rating agencies gave Nigerian Brewery Plc A+ rating. |
