I don't think there is any custom recovery for the hot 2 at the moment..you can go on in flashing the xui 5.1.

Android one is not the name of the OS.. the phone comes with the stock android lollipop 5.1 as designed by google...The other is an android lollipop 5.1 by Infinix....don't expect marshmallow on it...except Infinix decides to do otherwise.... I don't know it all tho...

you can use a PC or MemoryCard [haven't tried the TF process though].
just follow the instructions in the guide religiously and you'll be good to go.

However, you need to install VCOM MTK USB drivers on your PC prior to flashing. [that's if you don't have them b4 now]

is it 4 android? If yes,try www.revdl.com. there are actually plenty of similar sites.just search on google e.g pes 20** cracked(/unlocked).apk plus data(/obb) file

i have installed vcom drivers but mtkdroid wont detect the phone. same as sp flash tools. tried on 2 different computers, same outcome. pls any assistance will be much appreciated because the update always comes with error on my phone after unrooting. downloaded the full zip file from the infinix website. pls help.

When you plug your phone to the computer systems, are you able to view your device through My Computer? If you are able to then the driver was properly installed. I don't know for MTKDroid but SP Flash Tools won't detect your phone because it's not meant to detect for you to do anything through while the phone is on.

SP Flash Tool only works for your fpne when you've uploaded the correct Scatter file that has to do with your ROM is on to it. Even at that you will need to turn off the fone when connected to the computer system for it to be flashed.

Last but not the least, trying other USB cables might be useful if issue still persists.
