I still av my cwm backup which i did while on kitkat b4 d upgrade, if only i can install cwm on dis lollipop I just might b able to restore it.

Or can we work wif dat??

I flashed the touch recovery after updating to the latest 0925 version. But i can't flash SUPERSU. ALWAYS installation aborted. You know what the problem might be?

I always wanted to go back to the KK version of Hot Note pro... I was fed up with L becos of the System UI has stopped and Majorly the RAM consumption, but after this 0925....boy or boy... Lollipop Forever...
I run like 4 apps before and it cosumes up to 1GB+ but now... RAM consumption is cool.... See image below..

That is not the stock rom flashable with SP tools. That is a CWM/TWRP backup

Not sure why u think some backup that u can't guarantee is better than flashing the stockrom.

You probably have some setting turned on somewhere that's stopping notifications.

It's either the Standby network management feature is on, or Power saver feature which turns off data whilst screen is off.

Or as usual you are using free browsing tricks...........
Open VPN for example has settings that pause data when screen is off............

I'm not the only one complaining about not being able to receive notifications while screen is off. once you click on the "clear apps" widget that appears at the bottom of your recently opened window, you will not be able to get any notifications, except you open the apps again

But this was a requested feature when there were complaints about ram use.

This was not the scenario you were painting since. You made it sound like even if the apps were in memory u could not get notification.


If you clear your apps from recent on Lollipop they stay killed unless they are coded to always restart themselves. Which will simply kill your battery.

If that's the complaint, then you will never use a version of Android above Kitkat.

Why are u clearing them from memory really? Are they disturbing you in the ram or you are just obsessed with free ram?
