However, sources told DAILY POST that Chris Ngige’s name came in at the eleventh hour.

According to a top presidency source, President Buhari, who has been constantly accused of marginalizing Ndigbo over their refusal to support him during the election, didn’t have it in mind to appoint Ngige.

The source told DAILY POST that Ngige’s appointment was done to mainly compensate Ndigbo.

The Ameh Comrade Godwin of Daily Post that wrote this is a moronic fuuktard.

Product of a failed education system.

What "compensation"?

This moronic fuuktard just manufactures stories from is arsse and then claim it is from a "source".

This cretin does not know it is the law that each state produces at least on Minister and there is no way any President can "marginalise" or ignore any region?

Fuuktard!

There's a constitutional provision that all States of the Federation must produce a "noisemaker". Where is this ethnic bigotry report from?
young man cool down, what this translates to, if at all the list is genuine, is that there are now two nominees from anambra against the usual one; Onu and Ngige

Ngige and Soludo are both Igbos and both of them are qualified enough to be minister.

The OP tends slightly towards bigotry as it seems to suggest that Buhari reluctantly included Ngige just to satisfy the Igbos. That is very far from the truth as the president must constitutionally choose one minister from each state.

Sorry unless I'm wrong the law states that all states must be represented at the federal executive council. And that includes SGF vp. And some other position I don't know et al
It must not be 36 ministers. As long as a state is represented in that council in one way or the other that law is satisfied.

After a three month long search for "credibility" he makes last minute additions on the pretext of "compensation". All those familiar names are proven components of the problem not the solution.

ABOUT 13 NAMES ON THAT LIST ARE NORTHERN. NGIGE IS NOT ON THE LIST, I REPEAT NGIGE IS NOT ON THE LIST. WHEN THE LIST IS READ ON THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE, WE WILL ALL COME TO START THE REAL ANALYSIS, NOT THIS FEAST OF MADNESS

Bro, cool down for jesus. Another list is coming soon. If no igbo man had made this list, many would make the next list. Baba has no choice here. You know he has to pick from all states.
bro pls don't get me wrong.
Does it really mean that the Igbo's can't be rated and selected when their peers from other parts of the country are selected?
Must anything that consign them in this Buhari era be associated with second class, second list, latter etc.
Remember that when the first Buhari apostles where called no Igbo person was among them and his actions was interpreted as his choosing those he knows that are competent. And I ask are the Igbo the worst set of incompetent people in Nigeria? His actions were further defended With the promise of the ministerial list and now they say it's out..... And this news of 11th hour inclusion is making the rounds.

It's really sad what message our politicians are passing down to the masses.

Thank God for Dr. Ngige. He is seasoned politician and technocrat and people should not in a hurry forget his sacrificed his life for Anambra State and rejected the looting of Anambra's treasury. I think he will add value to Buhari's government. May God bless Nigeria

This daily post reporter is sick. How is picking Ngige a compensation to Igbos? Even if he did not pick Ngige another Anambra man would have been picked because according to the constitution he must pick one minister from each state. it is the right of every state and can never be a compensation. it can only b a compensation to Ngige as a person. i Don't know why this newspapers that is meant to be promoting unity always bring ethnicity to everything. haba! I see this post as an insult to Igbo's. Are we that ignorant? nonsense
Re: Ministerial List: How Buhari’s Last Minute Change Favoured Ngige by dantewest: 10:16am On Oct 01, 2015
Buhari's supporters will do anything to make it look like Buhari is faultless, stainless, all knowing, saint, purer than saints, holier than holy, cleanest, sanest, most hardworking, and most sincere man in Nigeria. Non is holier or better than Buhari.

That is just sad, cos Buhari is definitely not who the media propaganda paint him to be.

Although, there has been light so far. I just pray the Nation won't be misruled as we have always been.

And for those shouting Wailing wailers at anyone who questions Buhari, those people are the most dangerous people to give any sorts of relevance to.

Instead of them to argue with sense and fact, they resort to silly abuses and name calling. That is simply immature, brutal and wicked.

The term wailing wailer is used to discredit any other point of view that any legitimate Nigerian have. I see it as a wicked type of censorship, attacking the sub consciousness of anyone who doesnt fall in line with the party's point of view.

Grab a book, not just any book. Read 1984 by George Orwell. Read it and gain insights to how the government is not to be trusted, especially in this modern age.

Be wise.

At least, one minister must come from each state. It doesn't matter whether president, vp, sgf or cos is from that state.

I guess the representative of Anambra state on the cabinet would have been a Hausa man from Anambra state.

Compensation things. Happy for him

I hope I won't be misinterpreted here. Many of these politicians that made this list are just being compensated for a job well done during elections. They are not really technocrats.

He belongs to nobody and to everybody. He equally said 95% vote is different from 5%. votes and therefore cannot be treated equally when considering appointments

Nd if the president did not appoint Igbo nothing will happen. When they refused due to vote for him in d last election they should suffer for the evil that they did that is living with them. D igbos are dis aligned with rebuilding Nigeria, they onlY help in distroying Nigeria. For a list of their evil Impact. First Coup, first curruption case, first Biafra, First civil war, First 419, first senate saga, major suppporters of GE jonatan, only antichage masterminders. We have to be careful about this Igbos.

and where in that section of the constitution is the president mandated to pick ngige at all costs , if you don't want to see his action as a favor? Soludo could have been picked, so picking ngige is huge for us.

I wonder how people reason. Ngige will only represent one state and not all eastern state. It is a favour to only Ngige if he is selected and not a favour to Igbo people. It is a must that one minister must be pick from the 36 states. That s why pmb is sending 36 names. If not I trust PMB he will work wit about 10 ministers at least to save cost.

Ngigie's antecedents as a governor in Anambra state was sterling, if he makes at the end of the day and take on his job as he did when in charge in Anambra, he will re-write yet another history.

SCHINDLER'S LIST

"We want to be on the List, it's the difference between life and death. The List....is life."

Quoted from Jews in World War 2, about Schindler's List.

Now our own local jews also want to be on the List, because it's the difference between life and death for them, hence the wailings.
