I saw this in Ilorin and how sad it is seeing that HAWKING can now be made public for people to apply. Hmmm,my fear is that kids will be the main target and if not stopped,hawking will now be glorified and you can only imagine . . . . . . This will also encourage child trafficking and child labour

A hawker is a sales person. It's not mandatory to hawk in traffic, one can hawk anywhere, within a market, business district, anywhere. Learning to sell can even lead to bigger things in future, I don't see anything wrong with it. If dubious people are now using this route to traffic children well that's very bad, but hawking/marketing is not a bad means of earning an income, and of cause kids shouldn't be involved in it.
