Just to clarify. Between 2013 and now, I have been employed - Twice actually. And I mean gainfully employed, bought a nice car, wore suit daily, lived in my own apartment, and whatever other thing employed dudes do. So there's a lot of experience.

At the moment, I am not employed. This situation is not even a year old. I still try to get busy with other non-work things.

Depending on what ur mindset is, the situation is better or worse than you think. Whatever! When is this list coming out?
grin well "articulated" response..... but at bolded, suits may not be necessary for this job and Eeerm, not all employed dudes wear suit, some see suit as "babariga" in this industry.

Like play like joke, neither ministerial list or successful list is out.
It's almost certain the former will be out later this week, while the latter will be out Q4 which also starts from this week.

So since I changed job in October 2014 and considering the accommodation cost in Lagos, I had to put up with an ex-colleague, since the NLNG employment was just around the corner and there wasn't any wisdom in paying a 2-years rent and getting out few months into the agreement. Well, 11months and a heartache after, with tears in my heart and a big hole pierced in my pocket by its effect, I finally got a place last week. Every night I come out of my apartment, look into the stars and pray fervently that my dream comes true. I'm ready to give up the accommodation cost; yes, even if the offer letter comes today. Oh, NLNG; My NLNG... #RekindledFaith

Lol. Well, was pointing out that it was a good formal job. Different industry, different rules.

My situation in 2013. I moved eventually, and 2 months into my rent, I had to relocate again. Not a strand of regret. Will do it again. Actually doing it again now. Just moved in today. Maybe if you had mentioned it earlier, we would have gotten a place together and reduce the holes in the pockets. #LagosRentIsCrazy #SecondonlytoAbuja #Keepingthefaith

http://energymixreport.com/nlng-gives-reasons-for-high-cost-of-cooking-gas/

The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) has attributed the high cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to logistics and lack of infrastructure, The Nation reports.

The General Manager, External Relations, Nigeria LNG, Dr Kudo Eresia-Eke said the cost of LPG (also called cooking gas) is supposed to be cheaper than it is, but owing to some factors, off-takers of the commodity add the extra cost they incur, making the end-users pay more. The price of 12.5kg cylinder of cooking gas is about N3000 in Lagos.

He explained that if the infrastructure was available, the product would have been supplied from NLNG’s Bonny plant in Rivers State to Lagos, and to consumers but for lack of infrastructure, the product is delivered through vessels (ships). The ships take the LPG from Bonny to Lagos from where it is pumped into tanks at depots.

Eresia-Eke said the intervention of NLNG has however, reduced the cost of the gas. According to him, NLNG is committed to delivering 250,000 tonnes of LPG yearly and has signed sales and purchase agreements (SPAs) with 15 off-takers for the lifting of LPG for the domestic market.

Good day Nigeria LNG management team,
I am a candidate in the ongoing graduate recruitment and candidly my words herein surely reverberates the intentions of most of the candidates. I do accept the market is unfavorable with the low gas prices and the policy direction of the nation is uncertain with no economic team in place and the FID for train 7 unsigned. These and few more obstacles unknown to me affect the recruitment process.
I have grown to truly love the company Nigeria LNG limited, with all the strides made and obstacles overcome in its history; and the premium value the company places on its people and stakeholders. I personally burnt all bridges to push myself to be the best candidate if you needed to select just one and I believe my name rests at the top. Having had my interview in June, my heart skips beats once mails drop and this isn't healthy for me.
On behalf of all the candidates, kindly get back to us with the results of the interviews to enable us get our heads in the zone quick; given that many of us have truly put backup options on the back-burner. We will appreciate a notification of the outcomes today even if resumption is hypothetically 3rd quarter next year.
Thank you for the opportunity to join up with the premier team of professionals in Nigeria. Together we will build strategies to make Nigeria top 5 producers of gas in the world.

Kind Regards
Graduate Applicants

PS: We are all available for immediate starts.

I don't mean everybody generally. I was referring to those that are still involved in this recruitment. I don't think there's any unemployed person among those. How d'you think any such person would scale through the interview section of the AC?

Boss, a graduate trainee position doesn't require experience na. If a person didn't have a job, he went through school, did NYSC, did extracurricular activities... all of which are avenues for grooming work related skills/abilities: team work, decision making, hardwork, etc

PMB speech on Independence Day 2015. In the 21st century, "slow and steady" only wins the race if there is no "fast and steady". Esp if fast n steady is possible.

He has a way of using powerful memorable phrases.

"I belong to no one, I belong to everyone".

"Nobody should fear anything from me. We are not after anyone. People should only fear the consequences of their actions".

I hope to be a part of our nation's march to greatness.

Dude he is hitting on her. If u look beyond the overly playful missive and the not-so-subtle reference to her (probable) unemployment, u can tell he is actually serious. He had to include the name so that no other person got confused. I am just curious to see how the object of his amorous intentions will receive the message.
Will she just blush?
Or will she go feminazi on his hindquarters?

The Lady-f I know would get the drift of that comment.. But if she took it personally personal, then I might have to personally apologise to her, and explain in clear terms that I meant no harm.

I have one question for all those that can't wait for the results of the AC to come out:

The 2007 NLNG AC lasted for 4 weeks(June 25, 2007 - July 21, 2007), and the results came out 15 weeks later on November 5, 2007. Considering that it took 15 weeks for the results of a 4-week AC to come out, how long is it going to take for the results of an 8-week AC(June 8, 2015 - July 31, 2015) to come out?

NB:- (1) 2007 AC had 450+ persons while 2015 AC had 600+ persons.
(2) 2007 AC held only in PH while 2015 AC held in ABJ,Lag and PH.
