In my experience, when people post their requirements, they usually have their reasons. It may be secondary TO YOU, but it's something I'm looking for. In any case, you (or anyone else who may be interested) are free to apply even if that requirement isn't met.

Becos in the university they don't teach such. after you entrepreneurs would be offering 80 k and saying take it or leave it. good luck sha with ur guilder ultimate computer search sha. byeeee too

I think your statement is very arrogant and naive (no offence). You may be a good programmer, but have you come across computer science graduates from top engineering schools worldwide? like M.I.T., Stanford, CalTech, etc. etc.? How would you know that you are better than most Computer Science students?

All i see here are excuses, you don't want to know how many times am thrown into platforms and laguages i have no idea about and still manage to survive and have something. You should be challenged and taking this opportunity upon yourself to learn and acquire more, most devs these days learn on the job.

This attitude of excuses will get you no where in companies. So if u are not on Linux install one it's free, as for docker i don't use as my personal work doesn't require it, Python pick it up it could benefit you when you need to automate some tasks, Java is not that hard pick that up too, Angular (well i will be frank i hate this opinionated framework with a passion so either chill for Angular 2 or use Vue.js as for backbone please simply use Marionette you are going to implement a lot of boiler code Marionette from my little experience lays down the foundation).

Nairalanders let's all improve and stop iving excuses. The internet is a vast sea of information, get challenged.

Some of us read their books, they have a good environment no doubt but all it takes is a vast amount of information and application of knowledge which is clearly lacking in Nigeria, everything in Nigeria is about to money and not advancement.

You are correct, but not every Engineering/CSC student from Nigeria studies in Nigeria. A lot study abroad and come back to Nigeria.

I honestly don't think it's the knowledge that's lacking in Nigeria. It's the infrastructure. If Nigeria's infrastructure (electricity and modernised tech) improve, the material will also improve as well. After all, Nigerians are acclaimed as the most educated people abroad.

Go ahead and apply. This doesn't apply to this job post specifically, but I know of many people who have applied for jobs and got them even though they didn't meet all the requirements. Really doesn't cost you anything other than a few minutes of your time.
