The exam point team has work tirelessly to compile
the most frequently asked questions by students
about unilorin post utme exam which would be a
kind of guidelines to all newbie aspiring for
admission into the institution .

Ques : What qualify someone for Unilorin Post Utme
exam ?

Ans : You must have sat for any of the 0 level exam
either with the result released or awaiting and
already meet up with unilorin minimum cut off mark
for your course in jamb.

Ques : What is the platform of unilorin Post utme
exam i.e PPT or CBT ?

Ans : Actually unilorin post utme exam is a cbt
exam so be ready to face the computer once more.

answering on the exam day and the time taken for
the exam ?

Ans : The question is going to be 50 question
which would last for 25 minutes.

Ans : The questions can simply be categories into

Ques : The question is in which proportion ?

Ans : Generally Unilorin does not have proportion in
which the questions are supply to be candidate
which means a candidate may have the afore listed
subjects in the ratio 20:10:5:7:8 ( i.e English
Language=20, Mathematics=10, Biology=5,General
question=7, Current affairs=8 ) while another
candidate will have his/her combination in the ratio
15:4:8:17:6 and so on which means the proportion
varies from candidate to candidate but one thing
that is certain is that you will be provided with 50
questions in total.

Ques : Is it through that irrespective of the course
you are aspiring for, all the student will sit for the
same exam as mention above ?
Ans : Yes Unilorin does not test how far you know
about the department or faculty you are coming in
for, because they believe those ones have been
settled in your 0 level and you have also been
tested in jamb so the post utme is just a way to
screen people by the institution, so therefore donˈt
be surprise if you are a law student and you are
sitting next to an engineering student sitting for the
same exam.

Ques : When will the Post utme form be out for
sale ?

Ans : No official date announce for the sale, but
hopefully one month or more from the time of this
post.

Ques : How are we going to know when the form is
out ?

Ans : It would be posted on the dailies, the school
website or any of the Nigerian student or educative
site like www.myexampoint.com

Ques : How much is the Post utme form ?

Ans : No official price announce yet but it would be
something between #3000 and #4000 because last
year it was #3000 while it was #2000 in the
previous year.

Ques : Where are we going to purchase the form ?

Ans : The form is purchase online on the school
website using either the Verve or Master card .

Ques : For how long will the form be on sale ?

Ans : Post utme form will be out on sale for two
weeks.

Ques : Does Unilorin consider catchment area in
their admission process ?

Ans : Yes, as practice of all Nigerian federal
Universities Unilorin also give priority to candidate in
her catchment area than candidate outside its
catchment area, but you will have high chances if
you are from Kwara state but with the highest
priority if you are from Ilorin. So you should not be
surprise if you score 220 in jamb and 80% in post
utme with no admission yet someone with 200 in
jamb and 60% in post utme gain admission.

Ques : Unilorin catchment area were ?

Ans : The middle belt states which are Kwara, Kogi,
Niger, Benue, Nassarawa e.t.c but the south
western states are also considered in some cases.

Ques : What is unilorin Post utme exam cut off ?

Ans : Unilorin post utme cut off mark is generally
50% except for the highly competitive courses
which are between 60% to 70%. So if you score
anything less than 50% in the post utme exam then
forget about unilorin.

Ques : Is it through that unilorin do change
someone course i.e you are offer different course
other than the course you aspire for ?

Ans : Yes that has being the trend , so don't be so
surprise if you put in for medicine and you end up
with zoology, that?s unilorin for you. One thing is to
be offered an admission another thing is to be
offered your aspired course.

Ques : what are we going to bring to the exam
venue ?

Ans : All that is required of you is your printout and
a pen to sign the attendance but remember to dress decently because unilorin
does not tolerate any form of indecent dressing.

Ques : How long will it take for the result to be
out ?

Ans : Your result will be sent to you as text
message at 8pm so be sure of the phone number
you provided while doing your registration although
you can as well check the result on the school
website.

Ques : How will I know if have been offered
admission ?

Ans : A text message will be sent to you or by
checking your admission status on the school
website.

Ques : they said Unilorin only admit muslims; is it
true ?

Ans : No, religion is not use as basis for
admission.

Ques : Where is the exam venue ?

Ans : Unilorin provide two centers for the post utme
exam which are a center in Lagos at Oba Akran
avenue and the other center at the school premises
in Ilorin. You are to choose one of this center for
your exam.

Ques : Does remedial student also have to sit for
post utme exam ?

Ans : Yes because it increase their chances of
offering their desired course although what actually
qualify them for admission is meeting up with the
minimum 50% pass in their courses but does not
guarantee that they would be offer their desire
course.

Ques : How is Post utme cbt exam practice center
on this page of relevance to the unilorin post utme
exam.

Ans : It is of relevance in the sense that you will be
able to practice the post utme exam for free on a
platform which look exactly like the one you will
see on the exam day, but note that the questions on
the page as at the day of this post was mostly
Unilorin and Unilag past questions which you can

Please I'll suggest those who booked spaces on the thread created to modify the post into meaningful thing esp showing our great concern concerning our demand for the release of the list or a detail explanation from the school on what's causing the delay in the release of the Admission list.

1. The DE students admitted last year were not up to 40.. They are not more than 20, I think.
2. Many of them are A Level peeps.. Many! Although, some are BSC Holders sha. But many of them are A Level peeps
3. The thing is.. Apart from those who are coming from 100lvl, 20 will join d class from anatomy n physiology, some students may come on transfer from other schools, international students may also come(and they can be up to 20) ... Repeaters will also join d class(those that are meant to be in 300lvl).. and they can also be up to 20.. So it's not rili feasible to admit 'more than 40' through DE

Lol... u don't know what you're saying and it seems you don't even know what's happening in your class, I know several people who had to defer because the program was already going on when they were admitted. There are up to 40 DE students admitted and I just quoted what the provost said sometimes ago.

It's not even farfetched, I personally know up to 20 DE students (mostly graduates) in ur class and I don't know up to half of d ppz there... international students r also DE students btw.
I won't want to go into the politics of why degree students are preferred. When you get to clinicals, you'll understand.
