Let me guess, you're a northern ediot.

So how exactly will Fulanis sustain the victims they're terrorizing and killing?

Hold up, let's talk about this, how are Fulani (herdsmen) even valuable to this country?

Yes, they sell cows and that meat/onions (forgot what y'all call it).

What else?

LWKMD!! ROFLMAO!!! Chai! cheesy shocked grin I haven't laughed this much in years! cool It was not copied from anywhere. Provide proof, now. Gosh! Oya, copy Igbo straight from the Google translate site, and see if you would see any marks on the words. Take my advice. Stop using Google to learn Igbo. The chaps who uploaded Igbo unto Google, did a poor job. Igbo has different dialects, and they didn't factor this into their equation. If you ask nicely, then I can teach you the language for free. Or recommend a good teacher for you. undecided

Mention the words or phrases you do not understand, and I will translate them for you, as best as I can. However, am only familiar with the Asaba dialect. So if you ask a question in Ezzi or Ngwa dialect, you are on your own.

Last word: I am not trolling. I leave such stuff to your brethren. All my posts here, are responses to those misguided souls who want to use me as target practice. The 3Rs of Grazing Viz.:- Rights, Routes and Reserves, : the Fulani Invasion, Sacking and Occupation of the Middle Belt States of Nigeria from the Perspective of A Continental Islamic Agenda:

THE BATTLE FOR THE MIDDLE BELT AND A SOUTHWARDS ADVANCE

.... While these insinuations may be debatable, it is obvious that an Islamic campaign to take over Nigeria will not be complete until the Jihadists reach the shores of the Atlantic down south. But to get to this point, their way must pass through the Middle Belt or Central Nigeria, hence the need to overrun the minority tribes in that region.

Curiously, the Middle Belt Region has continuously being relevant and strategic to the agenda of the Islamic Northern Oligarchy, whether those ambitions are religious, economic, political or ethnic, or even when they are harmonized. Needless to say, conquering and subduing this region became a primary project of the Sokoto Caliphate and the expanded Islamic Northern Oligarchy.

As a vast region with multiple minorities, who were themselves heavily polarized, it seemed quite an easy task to be accomplished, considering how even more organized and secure kingdoms and cities in the north had been earlier overran. Contrary to their thinking, however, this seemingly simple task was to become the most perplexing.

It started with the 19th century Jihads. The Jihadists advance was seemingly easy until they hit the region. Some of the tribes were an easy walk over. Some seemingly surrendered at the sight of an intimidating cavalry of bloodthirsty, sword wielding jihadists. Some put up a fight, adopting different strategies of war to no avail.

One tribe, however, did not shrink back and was not subdued. That was the Tiv. They were known for their unrivaled hospitality but also equally fearless in the face of hostilities when attacked. They were not really known for expansionism but would fiercely defend their land and families from external invasion.

They were able to successfully repel the Fulani advance, through their strategy of poisoned arrows against sword-wielding Fulani. Their answer to the snorting war horses was also to dig trenches strategically around their fortes and retreat into the hills from where there well-aimed arrows hardly missed their mark.

Their victory was not just one for the Tiv people nor the other minority tribes in the region alone, it was also a great victory, and a debt owed them by the other tribes south of Tiv country who would have been annihilated by the ravaging Fulani Jihadists.

Having successfully checked the advance of the jihadists, the Fulani vowed to be back. They were yet to return when colonialism interrupted them by checking their activities. It was an interruption they highly resented. For once, they were also subdued and tamed. It seemed from then that their clamour for independence was not so much to build one nation Nigeria, but to have the liberty to resume their campaign.

While some folks are just busy belly-aching here, other tribes have been pitting their wits, strength and brawn against the Fulani for ages, in a bid to secure their homelands, and repel the invaders. sad May their tribe increase.

And may God save us all.

THE STRATEGY OF GRAZING RESERVES AS AN EXPANSIONIST TOOL

As earlier stated, it is not a secret that one of the greatest passions of the Fulani is cattle. It is so important that a man’s societal status is largely dependent on the size of his herd. It is unFulani for a Fulani man not to own cattle. One thing that is hardly brought to the fore, though, is that most of the real owners of cattle in present day Nigeria are not really the nomads roaming the wild and our highways driving millions of cattle, but wealthy business barons in the cities and corridors of power. These men hire the nomads to take care of their cattle, while they give attention to issues of religion and politics.

It should, however, be noted that, one of the major and traditional sources of wealth for these people is cattle. The Cattle business is a multi-billion naira business in Nigeria, and it is owned and controlled mainly by a few barons of the Sokoto Caliphate. They have formed themselves into an association known as Miyetti Allah Hore or more popularly Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN). It is also worthy of note that the Sultan of Sokoto is said to be the life patron of the MACBAN group.

Aside from being the father of all Fulani, and himself an owner of a great herd of cattle, he is a major stakeholder in the cattle business in Nigeria and stands to benefit directly from any profits made from cattle. This is aside of his being the father of all Muslims in Nigeria. Little wonder the Sultan has always been quick to personally wade into anything that concerns cattle herdsmen or Muslims in any part of Nigeria

Global warming resulting in unusual climate change with all its attendant consequences has unavoidably led to a rapid depletion of grazing fields in the traditional Northern home states of the cattle herdsmen. Urbanization, deforestation and desertification have sent panic among the cattle breeding business community, not just in Nigeria, but further north in countries like Chad, Niger, Mali, Mauritania, etc.

Added to this, political upheavals and civil wars have resulted into a gross state of insecurity that has threatened the business of cattle rearing. The consequence of this development is that herdsmen from further north have been compelled to look southwards for pasture for their cattle, which might probably be in millions of heads of cattle.

The resultant influx of these illegal aliens, who are many times well-armed, violent and perhaps, even radicalized, has even been acknowledged by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This unprecedented influx has, predictably, put more pressure on the largely peasant middle belt population with its very attractive hundreds of thousands of acres of green vegetation and fresh springs of water, which are one of the major attractions to the herdsmen and their cattle.

To the herdsmen, taking over these lands means not just salvaging their threatened cattle business but a major, and perhaps, unprecedented leap in their profit margin. Moreover, the increasing population within the region and further south only means a larger market. The closer the supply to the market, the better! And for their aristocratic masters in the glass houses of the Sokoto Caliphate, taking over this region means more than cattle.

So, once again, even if only for economic survival, taking the Middle Belt became an urgent imperative. The politics of grazing reserves had to be driven with all the power and wit they could muster. The advantages were too numerous. If they could manipulate government machinery to appropriate land in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital, it would suddenly give them everything they had been longing for.

They would get the entire middle belt and the rest of the country in one fell swoop. The whole nation will finally be at their feet, and it would be a great centenary anniversary gift to their great ancestor, Uthman dan Fodio.

Read the rest here: https://atiterkula./2015/05/07/the-3rs-of-grazing-viz-rights-routes-and-reserves-the-fulani-invasion-sacking-and-occupation-of-the-middle-belt-states-of-nigeria-from-the-perspective-of-a-continental-islamic-agenda-the/

Those wondering why advocates of creating grazing fields or routes for the Fula have suddenly gone quiet, need to realise that it appears to be an unworkable concept.

The Fulani elites will support the cattle rearers/herdsmen, because they are the greatest owners of cattle in the North. So those expecting Buhari to lock up the cattle rearers or herdsmen guilty of kidnapping and causing mayhem in the middle belt, and other parts of the country will wait for a long time. undecided They are part and parcel of the whole problem. angry

There is an unwritten code among Northerners that frowns on confrontation with constituted authority. Where the powers of those in authority are to be challenged, it is done carefully with discretion. The stage is set and consensus is built gently, as discontent swells through the ranks.

Any central figure leading the confrontation, also has to be on the same pedestal as those he confronts. That is why some folks will not rush to comment, because the problem is far more intricate and deeper, than it looks. Mere condemnation will achieve nothing, without some measure of action to back it up.

Senator David Mark is from the middle belt. And so are a host of retired army generals and ex-security servicemen. Right now, they are keeping quiet, probably because they are exploring ways of resolving the situation via a diplomatic settlement. When this fails, all fangs will be bared.

Like a blogger recently said:. .".Nigerians are being led to believe that these herdsmen are helpless bush nomads with a few hungry cows, that just need to eat the grass that nobody needs anyway. Since somehow their cattle can’t help wandering off into some farm, with, perhaps, some little destruction, which usually incenses a largely intolerant and hostile farming host community against them..." This is untrue. The attacks by the herdsmen appear to be a coordinated response, to win sympathy from the public, but unfortunately it has backfired against them. undecided May their evil continue to fail!

So kindly spare a thought and a prayer for those middle belt communities, who have borne the brunt of the attacks. In my humble view, the Tiv and other Middle Belt tribes should simply be supported to defend themselves and their ancestral lands, from the herdsmen and invaders.

Unfortunately the Yorubas gave you that authorization.

It's not your fault.

It's our fault for being liberal, GEJ's fault for being incompetent, and Igbos fault for favoring corrupt politicians.

Please continue talking about ruling Yorubas/igbos so that the Yorubas will finally wake up.

You are still showing yourself with your lies, falsehood and propaganda

It's totally unacceptable to aver that Yorubas are liberal. Liberal in what sense - that Yorubas are in the habit of breeding touts and political thugs to heat up the polity and disturb the peace of lawful citizens?

Yorubas cannot be said to be liberal in any way when they display animosity and envy that some other tribe out-compete them in SW region.

Yorubas cannot be liberal when many of them supported Oba Rilwane Akiolu threat to drown Igbos in the Lagos lagoon should Igbos fail to cast their votes for his anointed gubernatorial candidate.

A selfish, treacheerous, tribalistic, greedy and wicked people who rarely appreciate the good in other people can never be said to be liberal.

It's an aberration and a misnomer to ever conceive such thought that Yorubas are liberal.

Backstabbing is no way related to being liberal.
Despite your campaign of calumny and hatred against GEJ as president he was very liberal to you backstabbers. GEJ guaranteed Yorubas freedom of speech and freedom after speech. GEJ did not go about assassinating perceived political opponents as was obtainable in past regimes.

GEJ allowed Yoruba opposition party to flourish and win elections across the country - a democratic dividend that your own Obj could not offer.

GEJ was peace-loving and liberal and never sent/forced any Yoruba person on compulsory exile despite all your insults and arrogance.

GEJ was so liberal that in spite of the fact that his State and SS region produce the crude oil wealth for your sustenance he allowed you parasitic ingrates to have your way.

Yorubas term themselves as being respectful yet you called GEJ unprintable names. You fabricated and concocted evils and sold them as news to the public.

GEJ performed far better than Obj, Yorubas do-or-die proponent whose despotic reign was marred with mass corruption, election rigging, financial recklessness and numerous failed projects.

How dare you state that Igbos are favouring corrupt politicians? Are you out of your mind?
How can Igbos be blamed for favouring corruption when your hypocritical tribe prefer to sit on the fence than have this country restructured and the evil system dismantled?

Don't tempt me to go into listing the corrupt, treasury-looters Yorubas have made available for leadership in the past decades.
