I honestly cannot reconcile a verbal championing of the fight against corruption with being escorted by Amaechi to the UN on the one hand, while going after Deziani and Saraki on the other.

It is clear that PMB is fighting something, but it is also clear that it is not corruption.

I mean, he has even presented some of these known missappropriators to us for approval as ministers.

Conclusion: You are gullible if you buy the lies of the APC or the PDP. Work on personally developing/improving yourself. At least you are in control of that

All politicians are the same, six and half-dozen. It doesn't matter if they carry a broom or an umbrella. The only language they understand, is the language of self-interest, manipulation and chicanery. undecided

Corruption will always fight back using it's victims as foot soldiers, just same way British colonialist used mainly African soldiers led by white officers to defeat African kingdoms.

Rubbish! Why don't you embark on a placard-carrying protest in London and the British Embassy in Abuja.

Buhari himself is a coupist, several times. You must have heard about what happened in South Africa some months ago when other Africans were booted out right? What did Buhari say, when the majority of those booted out were Nigerians. Nothing.

You know why?

Because he did the same thing 30+ years ago as "DICTATOR".

What about the recent coup in Burkina Faso that was eventually foiled after a month or so? Did grandpa say anything? How could he?

He himself is a coupist.

Or on Abacha, the worse leader in the Zoo's history?

Nope, that man never stole says Buhari, as he too served in that administration.

What about child marriage that senators rejected, could Buhari use his influence?

Yes, you got it this time. He of course could not, when he married his daughter's age mate, (but hey, she was at least older than Muhammed's 9 or 13 year old Aisha)

Me, I am not interested in a good person becoming the president.
It was during the Abacha period (as a teenager) that I began placing zero value on the presidency and the govt in general.

My position (which I have been pushing for a long time, and which most of us have not come to see) is that we make these public servants gods by paying them too much attention when we know they are low.

If politicians fought so hard in the business space, Nigeria would have been one of the super nations by now. But they bring all the do-or-die fight to politics leaving the bussines space relatively free and unchocked. There is so much space and opportunity for more Nigerians to become billionaires in every region of the country.

Everyone must work hard and grow themselves into financially secure people through private enterprise. That way, the state becomes possibly poorer than the people and folks stop scrambling for peanuts from them.

The balance of power eventually changes.

The two main groups of people in my opinion are
1). The organised political cartels
2). The rest of the people largely herded by the cartels.

You can choose to be either in one if these two groups, or you could join a third and different group which is not herded by the politicians and whose members place their destinies in their own hands.

of course you're right on the money
but how to get really really really.... really hungry people not to hold dispensers of wealth and patronage in awe is the 65 million dollar kvestion
so which comes first the herders or the herded
all I'm saying is since no good person exists
let the cartels cancel each other out
