ENGRJCJ:I think i have spoken to you before...? Anyways, try ETI but i will advise you don't rush it, try and look for an Engineers Australia accredited institute for your chosen course, it will save you a lot of stress when you finish. |

KIKIADE:The following information will assist you: Australia is a wealthy country; it generates its income from various sources including mining-related exports, telecommunications, banking and manufacturing. It was identified by the Credit Suisse Research Institute as the nation with the highest median wealth in the world and the second-highest average wealth per adult in 2013. In terms of average wealth, Australia ranked second in the world after Switzerland in 2013, although the nation's poverty rate increased from 10.2% to 11.8%, from 2000/01 to 2013. Australia is the world's twelfth largest economy and has the fifth highest per capita GDP (nominal) at $66,984. he country was ranked second in the United Nations 2011 Human Development Index and first inLegatum's 2008 Prosperity Index. Melbourne reached top spot for the fourth year in a row on The Economist's 2014 list of the world's most liveable cities, followed by Adelaide, Sydney, and Perth in the fifth, seventh, and ninth places respectively. The service sector of the economy, including tourism, education, and financial services, accounts for about 70% of GDP. Agriculture and natural resources account for only 3% and 5% of GDP respectively, they contribute substantially to export performance In 2013, there are about 650,000 New Zealand citizens living in Australia,[2] which is about 15 per cent of the population of New Zealand. Although the economy is slowing down recently but that is not a reason not to consider Australia if you have the opportunity. 1 Like 1 Share |

@NNBB2012, @lawland I was talking to a friend rounding up her Masters in perth, she told me that once she's done she'll get automatic membership into Engineers Australia which I know. she then said she'll still want to assess her Nigerian B.Eng to get more points when she wants to apply for PR. I asked her so u can get points for both the Maters and the B.Eng and she said yes...I'm confused please confirm this for me. Thank you very much guys |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by lawland: 4:41pm On Oct 02, 2015 |
chuckdee13:Naa... She won't, she can only get points for Australian study and her highest qualification depending on which occupation she nominated. |

bb64:I don't know what to tell you but i do know that Community service does not have advanced diploma, its only Cert iv and diploma |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by chuckdee13(m): 4:51pm On Oct 02, 2015 |
This is what i understand too...but didn't wanna argue with her. since she's on ground she'll find out soon enough. thanks alot for ur response...one more thing, once done with masters n u get automatic membership (according to her) after payment does it mean u dont need to assess anymore and u will just get ur points like that? lawland: |

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bellong: 12:39am On Oct 03, 2015 |
Chuckdee13, Bachelors and Masters carry 15 points. Only PhD is 20points. Being a member does not automatically grant her positive assessment. She needeto assess her skill. |

Graham355:hi, I'm still an applicant like u so I might be wrong. but from what I've gathered and learnt from this thread, there are other ways to beat GTE without a job offer. infact it's better to be honest about it than to fabricate something and they verify and find out. you can beat GTE by being convincing in ur SOP. make sure u properly link ur course with ur academic n work history and also ur future career plans in NIGERIA. if u are SVP, it also reduces d amt of evidence u will need to show. however, if u have d money then feel free to buy d land if u must, I guess that can also serve as home tie. I now handover to Oga lawland, n Futuredon to lay emphasis. October of numerous grants for us all. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Graham355: 8:17am On Oct 03, 2015 |
chi50: Boss I appreciate your response. My app is SVP. I just want to verify if someone recently got a grant without home ties. Lol, The money is not there, jus ready to do what is necessary. I key into that prayer in Jesus name! Other Bosses I await your responses. |
