To be more helpful, I will ask you a few questions
1) Have you tracked badr4/6 ?
2) what's your signal strength on 11919?
If your answer is yes, it means your dish is good enough for out of footprint reception.
Next your signal level on mbc will give an idea if you can or not get it in Gboko.
My recent experience with eri tv2 in Jos is as follows:
1)Three installations of locally made 3M pan in various locations in jos, only one got eri TV 2!, the other two didn't but these two dishes dat couldn't track eri tv2 shared one similar trait...they couldn't nail badr4/6 which is available on 2.4M strong dish.
Your guess is as good as mine on those dishes.

2)Up to 12months ago or thereabouts, eri TV 2 was available on 2.6M dish but after changing their frequency from 12606 to 12730, signal is now available on a well centered 3M dish

3) Locally fabricated dish can made you feel like you don't know how to track sat signal sometimes irrespective of your experience esp if the dish reception isn't good and its tiring n frustrating.Thus a lot of patience, tweeqing n changing between sats to obtain d perfect focus for each dish is required.

yea i once track the mbcs on badr, and i was having like56%,
sir, a lot of channels on arabsat 30.5 have now move, remaining the C band channel on global beam, and i did not even see 2M national again,
so, if i track with the Dounia Tv 4061v 1615 up to 80% which is on global then replace it with a ku, will i be able hit the target?

I tried getting this station on a2.4 m dish i maiduguri. was able to get 2M at 63%. no matter what i tried, could not get d signal above this level and so eri tv didnt pop up. had to then opt for hotbird instead.

yeah, it is general. They moved to newly lauched eutelsat8wb, for u to get them, just lower ur dish a little bit on 10971V 27500.

Folks, Glow TV + Spirit word Freq-11996 H, S/R 27500. AMC Portugal & Afro music channel have been FTA @ SES5/Astra4 4.9*East for past 4_days. Freq-12265 H S/R 27500.

The C-band lnb can only give you an idea of 30.5e position but for out of footprint signal, using C-band lnb and then replacing with Ku lnb won't hit d target.

Its easier to locate joy TV(28.2e) first and shift slightly to the right while swinging d dish up and down gradually(starting from the location of joy tv).

NB: it is just slightly below and to d right of joy TV(when facing thedish).

Sometimes BUD flatters to deceive. Why waste your time when we get BBC, France24, VoA, Aljazeera, etc on 60cm dish. Go for Amos 5 since you want news.

-France24 eng
-Tv5
-Rave tv
-Sunna tv
-Dw eng
-all CCTV channels.

All not HD channels and free.But with HD receiver u can get more channels.GOODLUCK
