For example If your goods weigh let say 3.5kg. and cost of express freight. $8/kg + #450/kg.
Waybill china-to-Nigeria: $8 * 3.5= $24 * 165(assumed exchange rate)= #4620
Custom-clearance: #450 * 3.5= #1575
Total amount to be paid for 3.5kg = #6195

The same procedure applies to Normal and Express method of shipping. Same procedure applies to goods weighing less than 1

Judy received tons of packages daily and sometimes they can't point to u because most Chinese don't write your full details .

My advice: get the sellers phone number, tracking No again and give to Judy, Judy will call and ask the seller the details.

Also tell Judy the details of the package-content , if possible send pic if you use wechat or watsapp but SMS is more swift-

Its a pity Nonikings has a lot of bad reviews here, they were the toast of importers a while ago.

Ok do to the recent data loss on Nairaland, a lot of info about shipping companies went away .
I decided starting the thread over again from scratch, but this time around I want to get several things straight and right. With the following in mind

1. Simplicity : To ensure new comers in the game can easily become pro’s
2. Quick referencing: To ensure that Freight company info’s can be easily referenced
3. More contribution: The previous thread I had friends who helped me move the thread forward, friends like MAYORALL , SHINAF]. thanks however I cant do this alone this time I need your contribution

Does anybody ever think of importing KNOWLEDGE instead of just products. Most of these items people import can be easily produced here in Nigeria with the proper machinery and know-how. Why not connect with these manufacturers and find a way of learning to produce and manufacture most of these products to make Nigeria become and industrial giant. I believe that was how China got to where they are today..

Everybody takes pride in importing, looking for which stuff to import. Nobody thinks of importing the KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and TECHNOLOGY. We wait for China to produce and them, with few clicks of a phone or computer button, you import. That is not how a nation grows

Free On Board, you pay the expenses from the seller port(you pay for the transportation of the goods from the seller to Nonikings down here for instance)
