1. i am currently serving and will be passing out on the 5th of April 2016. i want to know if i can apply for the my masters here even though i dont have my Nysc certificate yet. i learnt UI allows serving corps members use their Call up letter to apply.

2. the requirement on the prospectus for Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineerin says a Minimum of Second Class (Upper division). i actullay graduated with a second class (lower division) as i narrowly missed a 3.5 do you guy think i should still apply?

nope.
Electrical are always very many, even d 2¹ are also screened via exams (only dept in engineering dat write screening). don't think dea is any chance 4 a 2²

nope, i believe they will need the nysc discharge certificate on the course of registration(that's after u
must have been admitted). and honestly, i don't know which batch of nysc that u are for u to be finishing by 5th of April

I was at the pg school yesterday. Submission of transcript by hand is still ongoing if you have your transcript ready. If your transcript is not ready you can still hold on till clearance time.

So from wat he said, we can submit our transcript now or hold on to it till clearance or day of exam just like collosus said

You are right! No MBA admission this year. Confirmed by a reliable source.
I have to wait again till next year... Distance wouldn't allow me apply to other universities. Sad!

I have a friend in UNIBEN, a masters student in electrical and electronics engineering department, he graduate with 2:2 and he gained admission April/May this year, so I think 2:2 graduates have a chance.

@adibo and ajoskele, what should i do , i made a mistake , i chose the specialization option for M. phil not knowing that msc has just one and only option A. in biochemistry .

and obviously it would affect the admision because the requirement for Mphil is msc

Go to PG school for your issue to be addressed sir.

In addition to this, my former course mates who are currently in Elect Elect Engineering told me that there was no entrance exam as at when they applied last year.

I really do not know. If your final cgpa is above 4, then you are ok. If not, I'd advise you visit the PG school for any info.
