G zeezahbee:I won't comment on it again. It's past and gone. I got no grudge against him, I've forgotten about it. Although I'm disappointed in him, but life goes on. I sincerely wish Stevecrun the best in life, as I wish for myself. I might have went to far to bring the personal matter here, but that's the same way I felt. I have always been open to him, and even while in my former school, before transferring, I have been humble enough to call both you, and Steve to seek advice, not because I can't get it somewhere else, but because, I see you guys as family, even though we have misunderstandings and fights on this thread. To say the truth, I'm so hurt by what happened between us, but I'm cool now. I didn't intend to rubbish no ones name, neither did I expect someone to do same to me. But it's all over. I want to apologize to this thread, for causing some distractions, and disturbance, at the same time apologize to Stevecrun, I think I deserve an apology from him for what transpired between us (if he would man up) but if not, I'm still cool. I have learned a lot from this thread, and one time or the other, we all act. We are not perfect, or a saint as you said. I respect everyone here, no matter what has happened in the past. Im not here to claim right or wrong, but to bring about unity. I hope all is good with you over there. Peace. |

I'm seeing tinz!!! Lmao. Orisirisi. Mr teddyrain, not to rain on your parade but the moment you brought the issue on here is the moment you made whatever transpired between the both of you public. Might I ask, "If you didn't wanna talk about whatever TF happened the both of you, why did you bring the matter here?" I am not in any way taking sides with anyone between you and stevecrun. Neither am I saying any of you guys is in the wrong. I don't know the issue between both of you. But stop talking about it if you're not ready to let us know what happened. We sef wan hear gist na. Haba Wait o....was it not few weeks ago that Ctemi came on this thread and accused stevecrun of doing her bad? What is going on between you guys na. Una get business together? Liars abound on this thread fa! Na so some people go go thief another person pic out for dia profile. I didn't mention any name Oo. Before awon goons come for me una goodnight Oo |

teddyrain:Bro, make I no talk too much and to prevent raising back the dead bone.. Stevecrun deserve an apology from you..it hurts for saying that about someone to the public without fact (Fact i mean: For saying he's out of status but i read one of ur post that says " you haven't seen him before, you guys only talk on phone).Though the egg has been broken, unable to fix back BUT you need to apologise to him. 4 Likes |

imperiouxx: There is definitely a cultural misunderstanding here because in the U.S. system of interviewing you should be providing sufficient information (which some people on Nairaland claim is giving too much information). There is no quicker way to end an interview unfavorably than giving brief, one 1 word answers to questions that I expect an explanation for. But sufficient information should also be relevant. I don't really care about Taekwando because it isn't relevant, but golf is very relevant in the interview you described. That being said, I see several areas for concern in the way questions were answered during the interview. The truth is, graduate students are held to a much higher standard. If you have already been refused three times, and nothing has changed, why would the outcome of the interview change? There isn't a series of 'right answers' that will get you a visa. If you aren't qualified based on your individual circumstances, you will continue to be refused until those circumstances change. I think people should reasonably assume that they aren't qualified (whether they understand why or not) after being refused three times in a row... 6 Likes |

Sad news, my friend was denied visa. He is also going for his Masters in Theology, but when he reached, the VO asked him which seminary; whether catholic or anglican. He responded Catholic and he was asked to present a letter from His bishop...(although he was going there to study without the seminary or bishop's appointment), hence he is going on his own and his uncle as the sponsor. My other colleague and I went to the same consulate in Abuja and we all got our visas without this particular question. This was the only question he was asked and he was denied visa. We want to re-fire before the end of this month or early next month...what are his chances please... CC: bigfrancis21, slimmy05, walspring, msnas |
