I will keep this brief. This well-thought out strategy by the Buhari's administration to use the London angle to tackle the alleged corruption perpetrated by the former Minister Mrs. Allison Madueke is a Masterstroke. Since it became obvious that the current administration of President Buhari will fight Corruption with all seriousness, most of those that had held sway of top position and soiled their hands have been preparing on how best to tackle whatever the President and his team will put together against them. Legal team had been assembled. Protesters kept on standby. Journalists and bloggers budgeted for. Those who could jump into the Senate, had already done so. While some have gone into hiding, others are running from pillar to post. I still recall Allison going to Abdulsalami Abubakar to see if he can land her a deal like the one Jonathan got that will shield him from considerable hits. Allison also board the same British Airways flight with Buhari just to seek audience. With the now London angle they never see coming, it will difficult to lobby judges, bribe the court, cash in on old favours. My favorite part is that it will be near impossible to get visa for all the usual 2k appearance fee jobless protesters to go to London. While we deal with Allison Madueke and here accomplices - London-Style, it will allow us time to conclude the legal arrangements to have dedicated legal framework for the trial of cases of corruption in Nigeria and recover some of what were looted from our treasury. And once the Whistle Blowers law is revisited, ordinary Nigerians will have the opportunities to cash in on the misfortunes of these looters by simple providing useful evidence of looting. May God keep giving President Buhari and his team the best approach to deal with the challenges confronting Nigeria. God bless Nigeria. 23 Likes 1 Share |

EgusiSoup: Mr. EgusiSoup, keep praying for corrupt criminals. That is your soup, you can use akpu, garri or semo and eat it. I know protesters like you that don't have visas will not be seen in London protesting and bringing embarrassments to well-meaning Nigerians. 18 Likes 1 Share |

MUMU, THE INTENTION OF THE PRESIDENT IS TO CREATE A CASE FOR HIS ANNEXATION OF THE OIL MINISTRY: FOR HIS PERSONAL GAIN. THE CASE AGAINST THE ERSTWHILE MINISTER IS BOGUS, AND WILL FALL TO PIECES ONCE THE TRIAL COMMENCES, BUT BY THEN THE PRESIDENT WILL HAVE WHAT HE TRULY WANTS: AN UNQUESTIONABLE CONTROL OF THE NATIONS CASH COW. IF BY NOW YOU DON'T KNOW THAT THE PRESIDENT IS A BIG THIEF, THEN YOU ALSO DON'T KNOW YOUR FAMILY NAME, MUMU. 3 Likes |

If the London Police didn't arrest her, that woman will remain in London for years lying that she's on sick bed, and her corrupt goons and wailers back here will be flying different photos of her in hospital. Medics are in prison there. Rubbish! 7 Likes |

Irony of all ironies is when a 'probity' portal, which crowdsources reports of bribery and corruption cases, decides to run an endless stream of adverts as part of an image laundering effort for Madam bling herself. Another angle we can look at this thing from is, these guys knew they'll end up in jail so they opted for a UK jail rather than be arrested and jailed in Nigeria. Haruna Momoh (former M.D. PPMC) has reported to the police station today, the same one Allison is supposed to report to. Haruna too was a Diezani boy that didn't have any problems showing off his wealth when they were in power. These guys conveniently moved to the UK living large while they awaited their arrest. 4 Likes |

mrmetoo1:Wrong. It's not either Nigeria or UK. The Brits are charging her for MONEY LAUNDERING and BRIBERY. Those are crimes committed on the shores of UK. When she's done there, Nigeria will slam a 15 count CORRUPTION charge on her, which are crimes committed on the shores of Nigeria. Even Ibori might still face charges back here in Nigeria after his release from the UK prison (except his case had already gone to the Supreme Court). Remember, he was also charged for MONEY LAUNDERING in the UK, which is completely different from the charges he was being slammed here in Nigeria. 3 Likes 1 Share |

egift: Quit lying... 1)Diezani investigation started in 2013 in London and has NOTHING to do with Buhari purported corruption fight for now... 2)So far Nigeria has petty thieves like you who cheat in their little cadre now...corruption will NEVER end because they will always cheat and upgrade their looting skills should they get to Diezani's level in governance... cleanse yourself first of your corruption and stealing skills, before pointing fingers at others 2 Likes 1 Share |

Interesting... Westminster Magistrates' Court is a magistrates' court at 181 Marylebone Road, London. The Chief Magistrate of England and Wales, who is the Senior District Judge of England and Wales, sits at the court, and all extradition and terrorism-related cases pass through it. The court opened on 22 September 2011 as a replacement for the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court.Source: Wikipedia 1 Like

mrmetoo1:You're wrong. Those people prefer to be tried in Nigeria, where they can easily bribe judges and lawyers. In the UK, it may not be easy. Look at the case of Ibori. After being freed in Nigeria, when he appeared in the UK court, he wasn't asked many questions before he jejely confessed. His lawyer, whom he managed to get in his defence, was also sentenced for taking bribe. 6 Likes |
