The jollof rice actually looks very good. I'm interested in knowing if it was originally invented in Nigeria or Ghana?! It looks the same as that prepared in Nigeria. I also like the look of the fufu, though it doesn't look very appetizing drenched in soup.

It was't easy the first time i ate Ghanian food. Infact, i refused to eat their foods at first sight.

Swallowing kenkey with tomatoes and raw pepper made my eyes turned red. o boy! the only saving grace then was the fried fish.

But now grin grin

Banku is the only meal I have not eaten there. I love Ghana foods passionately. I have a lot of Ghana friends too. But some of the souls are similar to ours in Edo state . Eg Groundnut soup, oil palm soup and Green green which we call Black soup. Of course it is our version of the soups I have eaten. N I looove shito sauce. I make it weekly for the family now and it beats the one being sold with kenkeh here.

okay, we have similar one here in ghana we call oil rice. We fried onions and other veggies in oil, pour water into it and boil the rice... We take it a black pepper called shito

I did not see my favorite dish. Da hausa Tuo zaafi and kubewa soup. Wif plenty meat. The ayoryor is actually ewedu. Da food sweet die. I love it on sundays. Cc captainswagg
