They made it compulsory for all intending students to register with the educationusa advising centre and while registering u'll send ur registration details. Are u in Minnesota? |

tutolabiyi: You fill a new ds160 then fill in your new sponsors and use the code to book your appointment. If you have paid for sevis fee before you won't pay another sevis fee but check your old and new I20 then compare the sevis number together; if they are the same you don't need to transfer it but if it's not the same you will need to transfer it to the new I20 by email ice/dhs.. You can get their email in the last previous 2 to 3 page |

fizzile: If you want to go to Minnesota state university and you want to register with EducationUSA, drive down or come to USA embassy in Lagos on Thursday and attend their seminar by 10am, you must be a fresh graduate of high school or university with good gpa and ready to write standardised test and do loads of research online etc.. But if you can't then forget about the MSU and look for another school and remember that 99.9% of people on this thread got their visa without going through EducationUSA 1 Like |

LagosNIV: I can't find where I said brief your responses next time. I only illustrated how the first question would have been answered without tagging any sub questions. There are many cogent reasons for choosing a school. And as a Visa Officer, under your assigned time per applicant, how long do you expect a student to spend only on "why did you choose this school" that you believe is sufficient? Also, I still can't find in my post where I said talking about golf is irrelevant in his interview. All I said was he volunteered that info where it's not needed and that's why the VO seems confused. If I were him, I would have waited for a question about my course to come up before I talked about my specialization and profs. With that, I would have smartly presented it without giving the VO any room for contrast such as saying there is golf, taekwondo and sport leadership. Garbage in, garbage out, whatever I say at this point is what you know about my application. 1 Like |

Kai. .. This same thread that helped me in getting prepared for visa interview. Nawa o. Coming on here and seeing certain people misbehave, seeing the thread become something else. Read through 6 pages and not more than 2 success stories, it's appalling. I urge you guys to revisit old threads and see what this was like. Let's join hands together and bring this thread to normalcy. I pledge allegiance to join the movement. God bless you all. Meanwhile tuale to everybody wey dey carry the thread along. I see you all 1 Like |

OK, did you choose golf because it is among the 3 available courses in the school,or is it because you love golfing as a sport? What you want to do is convince the V.O of your love for golf, and how you plan to expand it in Nigeria. Omoh26: |

tutolabiyi: You are correct with the email address.. No need to pay another sevis fee because the previous you paid is still active and valid for one year. I hope when you email them you did as I said Nothing will go wrong if you truly pay the Sevis fee You fill a new ds160 and use the new code to book your visa interview appointment at the appointment booking website. |
