I have one question for all those that can't wait for the results of the AC to come out:

The 2007 NLNG AC lasted for 4 weeks(June 25, 2007 - July 21, 2007), and the results came out 15 weeks later on November 5, 2007. Considering that it took 15 weeks for the results of a 4-week AC to come out, how long is it going to take for the results of an 8-week AC(June 8, 2015 - July 31, 2015) to come out?

NB:- (1) 2007 AC had 450+ persons while 2015 AC had 600+ persons.
(2) 2007 AC held only in PH while 2015 AC held in ABJ,Lag and PH.

In other words, we should forget about results for now because they're not going to be out anytime soon based on antecedents. Good advice.

There are better data analysis and communications technologies these days as against those days

You're deliberately shying away from the question. Quit giving excuses, or rather, giving yourself hope.

Exactly. His premise is flawed. He is assuming the company committed the same amount of resources into this recruitment as they could muster during the last recruitment exercise; not more. And that the bottlenecks or problems encountered 7 years ago are extant.
All things being equal, we should expect feedback by November. Not later.

Your submission is not completely correct.
1. 2007 AC did not hold only in PH but only in LAGOS, in Federal Palace Hotel, V.I
2. 2015 AC was from June 8, 2015 - Aug 5, 2015
3. Also remember that then they relied on physical copies of the letters to be dispatched. Now it's more of emails.

Logistics would have been tougher then than now. Within a space of 7 years, a whole lot of things would have changed.
So i think it would b a lil bit out of place to compare times then with now... just my thought.

Cheers

After 8 years, any organization shd hv completely improved their processes. We really should have had results in Sept, esp considering the initial one-year delay before AC.

Good thinking there but...
1. The point is that the 2007 AC held only in one venue while that of 2015 held in three venues.
2. Meaning it was even a 9-week AC. We're still on the same page.
3. Sure, they relied on physical copies to be dispatched but the fact remains that they were only dispatched when the results were ready.(Remember, my question is about how long before it's ready).

Logistics, really, has nothing to do with this because as long as results are ready, they'll be sent out on a particular day(be it by email or post), the only difference being how long they get to the recipients(which, to me, is inconsequential).

Good day Nigeria LNG management team,
I am a candidate in the ongoing graduate recruitment and candidly my words herein surely reverberates the intentions of most of the candidates. I do accept the market is unfavorable with the low gas prices and the policy direction of the nation is uncertain with no economic team in place and the FID for train 7 unsigned. These and few more obstacles unknown to me affect the recruitment process.
I have grown to truly love the company Nigeria LNG limited, with all the strides made and obstacles overcome in its history; and the premium value the company places on its people and stakeholders. I personally burnt all bridges to push myself to be the best candidate if you needed to select just one and I believe my name rests at the top. Having had my interview in June, my heart skips beats once mails drop and this isn't healthy for me.
On behalf of all the candidates, kindly get back to us with the results of the interviews to enable us get our heads in the zone quick; given that many of us have truly put backup options on the back-burner. We will appreciate a notification of the outcomes today even if resumption is hypothetically 3rd quarter next year.
Thank you for the opportunity to join up with the premier team of professionals in Nigeria. Together we will build strategies to make Nigeria top 5 producers of gas in the world.

Kind Regards
Graduate Applicants

PS: We are all available for immediate starts.

You started with "I" shouldn't your closing be "Graduate Applicant"?

Guy take am easy with this ur grammar.. Anyway it's like I sounded too straight forward in that comment, for u to come up with this analysis

I'm wondering to what word you have referred to as grammar. There's no word in his comment that's of higher quality than a Secondary School Certificate holder should use in his/her everyday communications.

Such predictions sound funny and somewhat difficult to believe, yet I find them amusing and at the same time encouraging. Tomorrow starts the 2nd week of Q4, We're watching and waiting, we're keeping faith...

Better data-analysis tools would be used this time.. They are not going to solely depend on physical sorting and arrangement and analysis of data by human staff this time around...
Softwares would be greatly utilised this time..
Even if they wanted, with the amount of technology and tools at their disposal, they can release the results in September..
As it is now, their reason for keeping us waiting is best known to them..
A sauce once said here: "patience you must learn after the waiting"..
It means that the waiting is also part of what we must pass through.

Good morning ppl. It's Day 707.

We are now over 700. In fact, at this point, I have gone through anxiety, tension, stress, boredom, desperation... at this point, I am smiling at the situation. I have learnt patience and developed faith.

Bonny, I am going there and soon!
