With the gale of nonstop defections by supposed PDP top hierarchy members, and continuous exposee of monumental corruption by past high ranking officials, there will be no modicum of party representatives left to forge a formidable opposition beyond a boring expression of hate, vile and misinformation.

The party even finds it difficult to keep its workers from exposing the rot within the crumbled organization. The tales of internal conflicts bothered on mismanagement of party funds were splashed across all forms of media barely 2 months after the party's shameful conduct at the polls.

The party's national spokesperson seems to have lost steam too. He now sounds like a mix of sound from a toy store - "directionless". Obviously, money was the past motivation for the little noise he made under the last administration.

I was also baffled to see a spokesman of the party here on Nl throw banters about who should take the glory for the ongoing investigation of a former minister. Should this be the primary concern of an evolving Nigerian youth? I expected for once, the collective focus will be how to get our stolen commonwealth back.

By 2019, I forsee google even forgetting the party ever existed. The elections may not be as exciting as the 2015 elections. Beyond elections, we duly need a new opposition Party of intelligent people who are sagacious enough to keep the ruling party on its toes to forestall complacency.

My 2 cents!

Doyin trepidated when he said it. He knew the fecklessness and recklessness of his boss will lead to the death of the party. He had no choice but to massage his oga's ego.

I do not think PDP has a leader to lead them further. Their leaders will rather seek for bread crumbs from the enemy than stand firm.

My opinion though!

I think we will see a new pdp or a new party spring up maybe two years to 2019. That's the political strategy.

Let's keep watching this Nigerian Politics. By the time Buhari finishes his term in office, APC will be "deader" than what PDP is now.a

Quote me in 4 years, by the time Buhari does the needful, Nigeria will be better.

This is the prayer I owe my children and family!

Your wish to see the PDP collapse is Dead on Arrival. I am assuring you that come 2019 you(APC) will revert to your default opposition.

Barca my man.

I am not wishing for PDP to collapse. I am worried that the expected opposition is damn too watery (with respect to expended efforts so far) to keep APC at the central government on its toes.

From the news in the media it seems the party has collapsed already. The ex-president is always busy carrying nylon bags of baffs from stores abroad or busy smiling at camera when he should be defending the policies of his government. His ex-ministers no longer bark in response to allegations. Others are busy being disgraced abroad. At home, the official spokesman is no longer as active as he was in the first 100 days. And you the lead spokesman on NL has changed identity with back and forth behavioral dispositions in less than 6 months.

All is obviously not well with your party. I wish the party quick recovery if you say it is yet to collapse.

As I always tell you, I belong to no party. I belong to the party of objectivity. grin

What are you saying? Are you in trance? Where did you see the emboldened?
Re: Vacancy - PDP Is Dead. New Opposition Party Needed. by kingdompropty: 2:52pm On Oct 08, 2015
A dead opposition doesn't have the following.

1. All south east, south south, some south west and northern states.

2. 40% of the two chambers.

3. Deputy senate presidency.

4. House membership even in the heart of ruling party state. Lagos.

5. All the major oil producing states.

6. A huge number of youth membership etc.

Mark my word 2019 will be tough for APC .

Am not a member of any party yet, but PDP is not dead.

You seem offended. Don't be my friend. The emboldened you referred to is my posit on your decision to deactivate your previous account on NL to progress your opposition on other platforms, and returning after a short while with a new identity which now has a prefix appended to the previous ID. I hope you now understand.

Just my opinions though. wink
