Sir, i have filled a new DS 160 form but the form had all my details already so i just corrected them, is that right ? or will it give me problem later.

When filling a new one, the form can't have all your details unless your browser is in autofill form I.E when you type a letter it will show or suggest for you.

Since you corrected things there and make sure you fill your latest details and sponsors as well

. Thanks my man. Although, Walspring has made some clarifications to me but still; the school is ETSU and my fear is about the embassy. I was thinking initially the VO might want to ask why program english proficiency is required; meanwhile I didn't do TOEFL. That has prompted me to ask the question if there is need for me to do TOEFL. Thanks

Just tell them that it was waived!

It is fraudulent and criminal which could lead to deportation- Walspring. Obtaining visa for the sole aim of eloping is fraudulent and abuse of entry visa. Imagine I send a message to DHS alerting them that someone like him is threatening people online. All I need do is furnish them with his address and phone number. He would be tracked down and deported. I'm not saying I will do this, just clearing the air. We've had friends report friends and they end up deported.

Out of status or not, keep your dealings to yourself. It doesn't mean you can't make a good life, yes you can. But thread carefully, don't be too desperate.

Abuse of visa is fraudulent and criminal. Think well before you plan any trip abroad. It's not all rosy here and there is nothing like my family. It's all man for himself. In other words come with your MONEY.
@bolded Plenty money. lol

You need to do online research for those Ivy League schools and have a good high school GPA, good test score, good reference letter with good essay

I have been on this thread for just two months now, I have read from part 1 to the current part 8 to prepare myself for my interview which took place on the 30th September.

US EMBASSY ABUJA.

My interview was scheduled for 9AM, But i got to the embassy 7am. I waited outside until it was time to go in. I was very prepared and i actually didn't utter a word to anybody who came for there own interview. To cut long stories short this was how it went.

It got to my turn and VO was busy looking at he's computer so i waited to get he's attention.

VO:Looked striaght to my eyes and signaled me to pass my documents.

Me:Passed my documents as arranged by the embassy staffs,

VO:What brings you to the United States.

ME:A Vocational Course In Welding Technology At OTC.

vo:Why did you choose this sch.

Me:The school is accredited by the american welding society. The school has partnership with lincoln electrics one of the world leading welding equipment production company. They provide OTC with the latest and advanced technology, equipments and techniqueS in welding. They also offers an area VO cuts in Don't tell me what you have reharsed from the internet. The MAN squeeze face o...To be honest i almost lost my cool. I wanted to ask him. Am i suppose to come here unprepared the school and all the infos i have are from the internet..(But i just kept quiet and didn't loose focus or balance because i was prepared).

VO:Looked Straight to my eyes... Just tell me why you picked this sch answer from your heart.

ME:There response was fast and swift. I had a good conversation with the compliance office Lauren Crawford (Her name is on my i-20 He was looking at it he probably saw her name). I also spoke with the admission officer for international student Rachele Steck they where convincing.

VO:started typing for awhile and he said to me. Let me give you an advise, if someone ask you a question always answer from your heart. It works trust me.

ME: Thank you. (For my mind he was already consoling me) while he was typing earlier on he's computer i just prayed that God should favour me and i do not want to go through this process again that this will be my first and only interview.

VO:Are you a welder

ME:NO,We have a family business. We are into building and construction materials sales, We sell iron rods, steel pipes and aluminium roofing sheets and more. We want to go into production of some of this materials.(I knew he saw i have a degree in Production Engineering)

VO:Typed on he's computer for awhile and asked, Have you traveled out of Nigeria before.

ME:NO

vO:Who's paying

ME:My Parents

VO:I can see that on your i-20 already.

VO:Typed for awhile again and asked do you like cold

ME:Not really but i will have to cope.

VO:You really have to cope because your visa has been approved. He kepted my passport and handed me the white paper and raised my i-20 and started telling me you will need this at the POE BLAH BLAH BLAH..NOT ONE SINGLE DOCUMENTS WERE ASKED.

As soon as i heard those magic words, I knew this could only be God. But my facial expression remained the same i didn't even smile to him or anyone when i left the building.

OBSERVATION: WHILE I WAS INSIDE THAT PLACE WAITING FOR MY TURN, I LISTENED TO A LOT OF INTERVIEWS AS MUCH AS I CAN. NAIJA PEEPS JUST DEY Bleep UP ANYHOW.

Some guy said he is an envangelist and the female VO asked him what do you do as an envangelist?? The guy nor even fit express himself. I couldn't even pick out a complete sentence out of what he was saying. He was obviuosly denied... That same female VO Asked another guy his date of birth he couldn't answer swiftly..He was denied too...Another one said he works in an oil and gas company. The same female VO asked him What do you do in your place of work...My broda start to shake for mouth and he couldn't even convince me self talkless VO. OBVIOUSLY DENIED TOO. The Man that Interviewed me asked a guy did you write S.A.T THE guy didn't know what S.A.T means the VO had to tell him the meaning of S.A.T....Obviously denied also. A family was going to Orlando FL. The vo asked them where they where going to be visiting in Orlando FL. and they couldn't even give a reasonable answer. such a shame i felt a little embarrassed. How can you not have a valid reason you picked that particular city.

MY ADVISE: GETTING A VISA IS VERY VERY EASY. PEOPLE JUST SEE IT AS ONE VERY BIG DEAL OR A DO OR DIE AFFAIR. FIRSTLY PUT GOD FIRST. THEN MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL PREPARED IN ALL AREAS. ALL THE PEOPLE THAT GOT VISAS WHILE I WAS WAITING FOR MY TURN WERE ALL PREPARED AND READY. THEY HAD A VALID AND GENUINE REASON WHICH WAS VERY CONVINCING. CONFIDENCE IS A KEY FACTOR, THESE VO'S ARE NORMAL PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND I. PEOPLE JUST DEY SHAKE FOR MOUTH ANYHOW. EVEN IF YOU HAVE A GENUINE REASON BUT YOU CANNOT EXPRESS YOURSELF THEN YOU SHOULDN'T EXPECT A VISA. GOOD COMMAND OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE, DRESS WELL ALSO.(NOR OVER DO AM O) YOU CANNOT WEAR A RAG TO THE EMBASSY AND YOU EXPECT THE VO TO THINK YOU CAN AFFORD TICKET FOR 200K. IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME. THESE VO'S DO SENSE DESPERATION IN A LOT OF PEOPLE.

OBAMALAND HERE I COME.
