[quote author=Ugik post=38798601]you seem to ask a question but Your writeup shows you have already arrived at a logical conclusion thereby putting the cart before the horse. i may not be opportune to travel widely and from all indications, you haven't traveled much urself cos The way u painted the states you used in sighting as examples of why the SS and SE are underdeveloped which are akwa ibom and Aba shows you haven't visited those states at all but only rely on media reports. Now, with the exception of aba in the SE where i come from, every other state in this region ought to be considered before a balanced analysis can take place or u mean to tell me that if a particular state out of 5 is not doing well, t hen it's assumed the region is backward. common statistical knowledge would tell you otherwise. with all due respect to ma yoruba and nothern brothers who seem exempted from your writeup, which state aside lagos, can match the development strides in enugu, Anambra alone. Yo u also mentioned Akwa ibom and its quiet apauling that a state of that caliber will form the basis of your argument. Bro, try and visit AKWA IBOM AYAYA cos I served there . with respect to your question whether they are the most corrupt cos majority of my brothers down south Rooted for GEJ, I can simpy tell you that the answer you are looking for is, NO, they are not. politics is a game of who gets wat and when And history has proven to be a determinant factor that shows how politics is played. go and read nigerias political history and then you can get your assertion right. Finally, we learnt in schl that statistics has two sides so Your overall general assertion of all SS and SE is wrong cos Not everyone here actually voted GEJ but A greater percentage did.Corrected |

ocelot2006:You are the one who does not have the correct facts. Civil servants recruited by Akwa Ibom State government in November 2014 have not been paid a penny till date! Go and find out! Most of them are begging to survive! Go and find out! I have stated my facts and who is being owed so you can work with that. Please come back here with the result of your findings. |

ocelot2006:Hahaha... That's what a typical SE and SS think. But unfortunately, its not different from what you have in your states. What infrastructure do you have in your state that is not in Northern states. Airports, Roads, Schools, Stadiums etc Continue deceiving yourself! |

You are talking of public tap water as a yardstick to development! Water supply as a problem was long solved in SS and SE and it has been remove from government priorities....The greatest development is human capital that's why the SS and SE is leading other regions on the millennium development goals. We want GEJ cos he was doing sustainable reforms and development. He was building institutions and for your info free and fare elections left with GEJ thomasthomas: 1 Like |

thomasthomas: Just look at this useless tw@t! What do you know about the SS and SE? You want to compare those northern states with Akwa Ibom, Nigeria's fastest growing state whose civil infrastructure rivals that of ABUJA?! That is the state you want to compare with Bauchi and co?! Guy are you mad?! Same story with Enugu and co? You must be high on expired cabin biscuit and gworo. Keep living in lala land |

thomasthomas: VERY GOOD!! You just shot yourself in the foot! So cos the state govt is yet to pay the most recent batch of recruited workers ONLY, it automatically means everyone has not been paid?! You see your useless life? You're aware that the issue behind the.non payment is being resolved, info gathered by the state Min of Finance, and payment will start this very October, right? Btw PLEASE tell the house how much Akwa Ibom state "borrowed" from the CBN to pay workers, let me expose you as the wretched liar you are. |

thomasthomas:please i do not live in aba, u misinterpreted that part, i was referring to SE. I live in enugu and there are over a 100+ places here in enugu with pipe borne water from the government. here alone at obiagu, the taps are running and the same with many other places. go to ebonyi state, they ve portable pipe borne water but That has been quarantined due to communal clashes that left dead bodies in the major source of water flow at ezeilo. talking about hospital, aside the private hospitals in Nigeria, every state has 3 hospitals thr federal, state and military hospitals and unth Enugu is the only hospital in Nigeria where heart surgery is done, so wat hospital in kaduna are u now comparing it with. yes, i ve not travelled the 36 states as u said u ve but Travelling does not mean you ve perfect knowledge of wat u are saying cos A traveller only has a limited time to stay. facts about a place are not deduced within a persons 1 month stay at a place. 1 Like |

thomasthomas:i would have ignored this but because of the ignorance filled post of your i stand to correct you... There is no city in nigeria that has adequate pipe borne water...mr traveller do you know a little state like ebonyi has functional rural water scheme and pipe borne water that functions periodically in the capital city abakaliki?. Coming to abia and akwa ibom where exactly do you know...bring them out one by one so that we can discuss. And then name the northern city that has optimal functional water scheme if not what is got from other states. conclusion: i am not saying things are how it should be in south east and south south south but i want to correct your misinformations on 1-your choosing of the wrong states makes everyone know you are not traveled as you claim 2-your assumptions is what i term ill gotten assumptions which is most definitely from the media 1 Like |

You see why you're a big LIAR like your party? If you've got beef with the SS, here's an advice: go jump of 3rd Mainland Bridge. Useless tw@t. |

thomasthomas:You must read this article Urhobo Eulogizes Igbo, Says Igbo are The salt of The nation how Much Respect Do You Show Igbos?I am not Igbo. I am proud of my Urhobo. However, as a student of history, I wish to show just what these great people came/come against and yet thrive. Okay, the incessant killings in the North will be glossed over so as to make this article not overly long. The civil war will also not be discussed. However, post civil war, as I explained in my post MINORITY REPORT: THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED AGAINST YOU, the rich in Nigeria have major roots in the Indegenization decree of 1972 and 1977.I reminded how the banks gave people of other tribes, predominantly Hausas and Yorubas loans to by up companies owned by foreigners. Now imagine the Federal government forced Chevron to sell 51 percent of its shares and that Access Bank will give you loans to buy the shares. How rich will you be in a year? 5 Years? That is how many Yorubas and Hausas got to own UAC, all those Dunlop, Leventis, Cadbury etc. Now while this was ongoing, Gowon told the Nigerian banks to give TOPS twenty naira to any Igbo man that had money in the bank before the war. That is, if you had 5 naira before the war, you will be given the 5 naira. But if you had a hundred naira, you get just twenty naira in full fulfilment of the banks duty to give you your money. Ask yourselves “why would the banks give Igbos only twenty naira? Did the banks collapse? So why pay less than you were given? So while the banks were giving loans to Hausa and Yorubas to buy Oyibo companies they did not build, Igbos were being cheated out of their rightful moneys. Now not also that these people lost Houses and business across the land. It is safe to say that as at 1970/71. the richest Igbo had 20 naira that may be the equivalent of maybe one million. Let us look at how Dangote made his money. He Dangote (a great man and pride to Nigeria) has an uncle called Dantata who owned huge chunks of the groundnut pyramids of the 50’s and 60’s. He gave Dangote a loan and Dangote paid it back in record time. CLAP CLAP. The add that Dangote has had his “brothers” in government, from IBB to Abacha and Abdulsalaam. When they now agreed to democracy, he was rich enough to have funded Obasanjo and so government policies, be it monopoly afforded him for rice, sugar flour and of course a large share of subsidy etc ensures he is the wealthiest Nigerian. (note many had same opportunity but did not use it. We kowtow to Dangote’s investment capabilities)However, for the Igbo man, where will he see an uncle that will loan him money? The richest man in their family has how much as at then? So while Fani Kayode can inherit property of his father and grandfather and great grand father, a Chidi Cali cannot inherit anything from his grandfather who had business in Kano or even Port Harcourt. Neighbours have made his dad’s storey building theirs, and even someone as educated as Saro Wiwa lived in an Igbo war emigrant house as his. (a sore point of the Niger Delta and Igbo Unity) WAEC building was Ojukwu’s dad’s building and like that building, thousands and the land with it….lands worth billions today were taken from Igbos and each and every Igbo had tops 20 naira, destroyed homeland, stolen and destroyed wealth away from the east. also his brother is never president that will give him oil block or fuel lifting. Of 33, only one Igbo man and because he was in Obasanjo’s good graces. YET LOOK HOW PROUD THEY STAND TODAY!!! Look what they have achieved for themselves….FIRST GENERATION WEALTH…top second generation. From being unable to send their first sons to school so he could help look after the shop, to producing first class brains in all departments of modern learning. So today, as you accuse Igbos of wanting their Biafra or of Baby Factory, or liking money and ready to do anything for money, remember that just forty years ago, while the banks were dashing your uncles loans to buy all the companies of Nigeria, it stole from the Igbos. Know that appointments have not favoured them. Note that they remain persecuted and many speak such ill and hate towards a people forced by need to survive to be extra-aggressive towards their sustenance. Maybe if you took their history into consideration, you will not be so critical of them, but instead say “what a resilient people” and give God the glorythat FOR NOW, we and such a great people are compatriots.
