Whatever solution you have, spill it here for all to see and analyze critically.
He has done that by offering to purchase the vehicle in question.

why should the thread be closed? Please the thread stays . It would be a reminder to the OP, dealer, all NLD family of the fate of badly handled customer relations.

The OP's intent from his very first post was clear : he wants the WWW to know the kind of person Chucky was.

As per Gazzuzz's offer, I don't even know what to make of it. He went from spamming the thread with his " goodbye" pictures, to advocating for 3rd party inspection before payment then again to " nothing corncern me mood" and now back to " I wanna buy the said car" offer. What do I know? The OP's call I guess.

Meanwhile, I no see any mention of time of payment in Gazzuzz's post. He told us everything he intends to do with this car but he forgot to add at which point the OP will be getting his cash assuming he wants the offer . Nice advert for the digital car solution guy, btw.

U need to relax, Gazzuzz agreed to buy the car no matter the state the car is, and not after inspection (his post was very clear). He didn't say he would buy it after inspection, but he said he would buy it and also pay for repairs. That is fair enough. I don't support scammers, but it is also good to think outside the box. Op was angry, he did the same thing I would if I was in his shoes. But someone has offered a solution which is a win win for the op.

From the little I've seen on NL auto section,I'd advice you don't stick out your neck like this when you want to help resolve an issue. Let both parties agree to something convenient for them. Coming out to say you want to buy the vehicle with your own funds and fix, when you were never a party to the transaction initially, will make people think otherwise, and suspect you were a part of the whole thing from the onset. I'd rather prefer you give the money to the seller to buy back the car from the buyer. That would help him redeem his image and it would be on record that he had an issue with an aggrieved client, and ended up refunding client's money. This would help him improve his buyers confidence. But then again,I just might be wrong. Just my humble opinion.

I have read from top to bottom, and I think it is time to put closure to this matter.

I have seen the vehicle in question only in pictures (oseris and chuckys) .

This is my offer. I will buy the vehicle from oseri (if he is willing to sell at the amount he agreed to collect from chucky234 as a refund)

The vehicle is currently in PH, I have a friend in ph (Digital Carsolutions Ltd. 36 Eze Gbakagbaka Avenue Woji off Woji Elelenwo road by Chelsea filling station) he will take delivery of the vehicle and document the present state of the vehicle. I will pay for the repairs of the vehicle and the car will be up for sale here on NL after the repair work is done.

All work on the car will be documented in pics and the repairs can be followed on a thread I will create specially for the said vehicle.

If this deal will work oseri just indicate interest here and contact me off the forum.

Please note I am not in support of what chucky has done by not fully disclosing problems with the vehicle.

I am very much relaxed.

You on the other hand do not understand my post and need to " relax" and go through all of Gazzuzz's inputs on this thread.

At a point, the OP called him out as a friend of the dealer and asked him to talk to the dealer but Gazzuzz's response was " nothing concern me for una marriage". It's weird to me that same person suddenly wants to buy the said car. . . But like I saod, it's the OP's decision to make.

The onus is actually on the buyer(accuser) to prove since he made the allegations and besides like I said in my earlier post, oseri's comments does not incline in a settlement he is just out to discredit the seller. I am almost sure he is cruising the said car now and that is the most possible reason why the car has not been returned and money refunded.
I don't believe my money would be tied down in place of a lousy car for as long as oseri has postulated and I would not have done anything about it to recover my money instead I ask for 50k in its place?
It is just unfortunate for Chucky234.... I pity the guy, oseri aimed and hit his mark.
True words. Honestly, the Op was expecting too much from a used car. As nigerian used cars go, and at that price(590k), I'd say you got a good deal @op. With time and more experience with nigerian used cars, I think you'll find this out yourself.

Hmmmn.

You need to read this thread with an open mind.

OP and dealer have talked offline and ofcourse must have said mean things to each other before this thread was created. OP requested offline that dealer compensate him with 50K so they both count their losses and move on BUT the dealer refused.

Now, if the dealer cared about his reputation, he had time to make things right offline. There are ways to talk to clients no matter the level of provocation especially when it's online business cos at the end of the day, it's the dealer that stand to lose the most.

The dealer refused to give OP 50K, he also didn't try to calm down the OP as his CLIENT rather he dared him to do his worst. He even came on here to type more trash instead of finding ways to settle with his client.
Okay, so poor customer service. Is this grounds enough for you screaming scammer? You have to understand that someone's business is on the line here and not just some entertainment hub for you.

In this case, what is the normal thing to do.... Is it not to return it instead of demanding for 50k? And no where in the op's original post did he say the option of returning the defective product was explored.

Na 50k come become bone of contention and people here are saying he should have just paid. Na blackmail?

Well Chucky234 the or part in every blackmail has just been carried out.... Sorry.

Well Chucky234 the or part in every blackmail has just been carried out.... Sorry.

There is no blackmail anywhere, from what I read. The OP claims to have spent more money fixing the additional faults that the seller failed to disclose to him on the car. But he is willing to split the additional expenses with Chucky234 and agree to a refund of 50k, out of the total money he is spending repairing the car, in order not to drag the issue. I guess it is a way of cutting his losses on this transaction. However, I stand to be corrected. undecided See what Oseri the OP said:

oseri:
When the driver told me the car has mega problem, I told him to bring the car to you. The driver complained of distance, drivability and that he called u. I also called you but u didn't pick. The driver offered to take the car for scan which I paid for. Since it was told just maf sensor, I felt it was a mere thing. Then he came up with door windows, atf, engine oil, spark plug. By then it was already too late.
I have told him to bring my 590k and come for the car. He refused. I pleaded with him to give me 50k to facilitate the repair he refused. So if u were in my shoe, what will you do?
Has chucks ever called me since I paid him? No
Has he ever picked my call? No
He complains about dying and yet he post car on nairaland for sale

So why has Chucky234 not accepted this offer knowing fully well that he hid the additional defects from the buyer? Why was he NOT upfront about the other problems on the car? Also, Chucky234 said he would ask his lawyer to collect the car back from the OP, and he would refund 570k. So why has he NOT done so?? shocked Look at what Chucky234 himself wrote in response to another Nairalander's question:
chucky234:
The last time we talked I made it clear that I wasn't going to send any money to you, other than to send my lawyer down to pick the car in person, you said you don't want my lawyer to get involved.
I personally told you that I was returning your 570k but you kept insisting on me sending you 50k,now you think you can bring me down.
You're a big joke, the battle line has been drawn and the people ranting here will hear the outcome when I'm done with you.
I have your threats (both in munched form and tape) with my lawyers, for calling me a fraudster I'll teach you a lesson you will never forget in your entire miserable life.

U can't talk like that. When someone advertise something and say its got clean interior and exterior, with no scratches, then it should at least be close to what was advertised regardless of how much u bought it. If I advertise something, for example a Nigerian used iPhone 6 for 50k and I tell u its working perfectly. U call me and state ur interest and ask me to tell u what's wrong with the phone and I tell u absolutely nothing. U pay for the phone and on getting it u found out the screentouch is bad, the Sim tray is missing and the phone no dey even see network. Would u be happy? Or would u say u weren't expecting too much from an iPhone 6 bought for 50k.

@Mr Oseri,
I will only say this once,be wary of these kinds of deals. Collect your full money up front before transfering the vehicle to anybody so you dont get burnt twice.
Be very careful, because what you have you hold.
