scribble:You are very stupid for saying that. Why would you think it's the responsibility of a state governor to build a federal university's teaching hospital? Come to Rivers State, you'll see the Health Centres & good hospitals that we've got here. If Stella Obasanjo could die abroad, what makes you think Alayemeisigha cannot die in a Nigerian hospital? Watch your tongue, man. |

drshrewd: As a way of acknowledging his contributions to the development of Rivers State, Governor Chibuike Amaechi has named the new 100-bed model hospital on the campus of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) after Prof Nimi Briggs. EgunMogaji:You are right but Governors don't use siren in traffic in US. Only POTUS and VPOTUS and foreign leaders of importance visiting. |

It’s a glass house known as the Rivers State Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital. The health facility was constructed by Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s administration to solve problems related with the tooth, mouth and other parts of the face. The structure is even rated to be among the best in Africa in the category of dental and maxillofacial hospitals. . God bless Amaechi. The Great Lion Of The Delta.. 1 Like

Lucasbalo: In at least the two states I have lived in, California and Texas, the Governors do indeed have a State Police detail and they DO use the sirens. But it stops there. The only other lower public servants that uses sirens and even in their private cars are Fire Fighters and off Duty Detectives. Definitely not Senators, etc but LA Mayor has a police detail and uses siren on specific occasions not as default. |

Because a rich man (former Governor) died there that's why you discover how bad the hospital is. |

EgunMogaji:Well, that may be the case. I know the Guv and the mayors do have security details here in Illinois but the use of siren is a no no. I see the Gov here almost everyday because my office is directly opposite the State Bldg in Chicago and he never use siren. Ambulances and Police cars and emergency vehicles sure do as you noted. |

adebayoggt: CMD, Patients Decry Poor Facilities In Uniport Teaching Hospital The death of a 200-level student of Department of Theatre Arts, University of Port Harcourt, Miss Kelechi Promise due to alleged lack of bed space in University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital was condemned by many. aresa: only people that do not reside in PH would run their mouth that Amaechi did not do well as a governor. even his biggest political enemies have never accuse him of non performance because they know he did very well almost all sectors of governance. Amaechi remains one of the few governors in Nigeria whose legacies will endure for decades to come. |

donodion: First and foremost nobody is perfect and I never claimed to be perfect, yes my emotions can get a better part of me sometimes but that doesn't stop me from seeking perfection and mending my ways were possible...I love my country and i am very passionate about everything happening to my fatherland so sometimes I get too passionate, it will be great if you face your own shortcomings and stop looking for other people's fault because trust me you have yours to contend with. May the demon that is speaking through you be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name, You shall be tormented with fire until you leave that body. I am glad to be a new creature, old things are past away all things have become new. If you are not happy with that then that's your problem, just be careful not to use panadol for stomach upset. Anger kills. |

He can't go outside Nigeria for fear of arrest. So it's gud he died in the poor system he created alongside with his fellow thieves. All evil and corrupt politicians will face God's wrath soonest. |

dBard: That alone confirms the OP's claim. How safe and healthy is a hospital with broken roof and drain pipes? They condemn such places in sane climes, but it's not a big deal to you the end users of such absurdities that consume and die in such death traps you call hospital while your leaders jet out for ordinary leg bandage like akpabio and his empty and sharade hospital. Alams end up and die in that hospital because he couldn't travel abroad with international arrest hanging over his head so keep quiet.. |
