Why does this mode of operation sound familiar? Oh wait there was a similar incident at lekki where an orange seller was killed, why do i have a feeling its the same band of robbers, could it be the men the police displayed back then where innocent men that were forced to agree to a crime they didnt commit? I wont be surprised though...FVCK THE POLICE |

Story story: The policeman is a man, and the policewoman is a woman. They got married to themselves and gave birth to some ugly children, among whom are: Liars; Bribery; Gun Hirings to Robbers; Robbery; Corruption; Oppression; Aiding and Abbé ting; Raping; Murder; and other Useless children and grand children too offensive to mention. That is the end of my story. ..... If the OP below me is a Policeman/woman, please do not rape anyone this night or else, you will be caught pants down....Say Amen. |

Don't the police have helicopters for aerial tracking of the robbers movement so as to counter their escape? when are we going to really take this nation seriously. It really baffles me how armed robbers will have all the time in the world to rob two banks simultaneously in a very busy working day and yet all of them escape. The simple message here is that we are not secured at all. BTW last time a similar incident happened in Lekki a governor been celebrated as a genius today said it was because all police went to protect the ex presidio instead of sitting down and analysing how it was possible for criminals to penetrate the city centre and mitigating future reoccurrence. RIP to the dead. |

Some nairalands have issue with grammar. 'No life was lost on both sides' means on the side of the armed robbers and the police that engaged in gun battle. Learn to read and understand before commenting. |

Joseph BiG Liar Offor or whatever you call yourself, YOU are a BIG and SHAMELESS LIAR!! When will Nigeria Police change?? I was close by watching korokoro and seeing the robbers having a field day shooting sporadically unchallenged and even had the guts to walk jejely carrying their loots and answering calls towards mobil filling station and then diverted to the canal at the bank of the small fresh vegetable market by 23 rd/4th ave junction. Stop decieving nigerians with your useless statements filled with lies!!! |

totalhouse: guy, u are a complete baboon.so is it right for police to just give report about d state of their men and dat of d robbers, forgetting d civilians.so u see dat u are nt being real to yourself. so now d live of d masses are not relevant ony dat of d robbers and police. very soon dey will parade innocent Pple as suspects and place guns and armour with NPF colour saying its wat dey recovered from the robbers, whereas those guns are their own. I shake my head for Nigeria policemen and those dat believes every words from d NPF. |

managermahmud:Pls can Nigerian youth have sense, let me ask you a question, can you face armed robber on gun battle, lets try to appreciate this professionals for God's sake. @bolded, ordinary grammar you don't understand yet you claim you are a graduate. No life was lost at the gun battle not at the scene of robbery. The robbers succeeded with the robbery but later abandoned 27m at the gun battle scene. We are fast in criticizing the NPF but ordinary fracas will scare us. |

This is so pathetic, lie in high definition. police ineptitude and protected inefficiency. why will they say nobody died and why didnt the use the helicopter bought by fashola to track them on air ways to avoid their escape. infact i shouldnt be the one teaching them their job. police need intelligence training by experts like some of us in this forum. |
