Guys, I had 161Q 153V. 7 weeks of prep.

I wish I had prepared longer and known this group way before I registered for the exam.
Also, you all should try and be a part of that Facebook group. It has all you need.
I had lots of statistics and saw a question on frustum in my quant. Not typical if you ask me. Given magoosh's distribution of the quant questions, I'll say the gre quant is taking a new dimension, but still simple. Just be wary of careless mistakes, and suspect any seemingly simple question. Wish you all better luck than mine, and avoid JKK if you can. I didn't have a good experience there. But that's just me.

I finished my Test a while ago. My experience: GRE quant isn't really as difficult in contrast with the materials I prepared with. Most of 5lb and other materials are not truly representative of the actual test. Magoosh is cool to a large extent. I wasn't happy with my Quant score, I aimed for at least 160 but scored 154. The format I got was VQVQV. The first verbal was so tough. This really affected my composure, it turned out to be the experimental section after all. My verbal score was 156. That's an aggregate of 310. I'm applying to a number of Texan Schools....my discipline is Engineering. I don't know how 154 will affect my chances. I regret not paying attention to silly mistakes... To those hoping to write..... I'll reiterate you stick with magoosh and ETS materials alone. Magoosh mimics ETS tricks "quite" well. So if you've got the money you can subscribe to one of their plans...... or do it the way I did. You wouldn't spend more than 2500....I'm ready to share the Google Drive folders with anyone. Freely I received, freely I'll give. All you need is a data plan and a PC. For verbal I'll strongly advise you download the MAGOOSH "GRE vocabulary" app from play store, you can download the "Vocabulary Builder" app too, but don't use the latter until you've mastered the GRE vocabulary. No word was strange to me on the Test. So that's about it from here. Cheers.
Applying to some mid tier schools is better. schools with lower GRE average for admissions than your score. UH, UTexas Arlington, Texas Tech...

Why only Texas?

For uh, verbal is 150,quant 159... Total 309.

He could package his Sop, lor and a good undergrad cgpa, and apply.

All those schools I mentioned have gre <310, Arlington being the safest.

People, the most important study material is the official ETS guide and question pack. Second to that would be the magoosh tutorials. If one can dedicate enough time to thoroughly cover the stuff in those study resources, it should be enough.

However some people may prefer reading from a textbook and magoosh's video tutorials may not be good for them. In that case, I'd recommend the manhattan series for quant. I'm not familiar with verbal material so can't comment on that, but again magoosh has excellent reviews of the contemporary GRE study materials. Intending test takers will do well to go to their site and check for their book review page.

Ok, search ETS 's website and send them a complaint mail. They would respond within 2 days, though it's usually faster. Have you been able to access the scores on this page before now?

Yes paypal works with GTB mastercard,thats if you have verified your card onbthe paypal page, I registered for TOEFL 2 weeks ago with it and I was charged 39000+ , thats like 224 naira to one dollar..GRE wont be an exception
