by external power support, I mean those that have provision for connecting to a source. Although they never worked on my hot2 only my hot note. Hot 2 doesn't have OTG, they say its hardware limitation just like infinix zero.

I'm still waiting for that f**ked up update to reach me. been waiting since last weekend.
you need to confirm if those that did that update suffer the same issue.

Just found out that some other things are wrong after the update. For example, can't send mail via the Gmail app. After typing message, tapping the send button doesn't do anything. Also, some features have been taken off the settings board.

When you say some features been taken off settings board, you have to be specific. Likewise for the sending of mail through Gmail ....are you sure you have entered the correct email address?

BTW, I've updated my phone twice now - first update and most recent one without any issue. Though after the first update, I started noticing some lag and freezing but that was after the updating of apps preparatory to their porting to Marshmallow. All that stopped after the most recent upgrade.

You don't need rooting if changing IMEI is what you're after. Dial *#*#3646633#*#* to access the EngineerMode, Swipe left to access Connectivity tab and select CDS Information--->Radio Information to change your IMEI

NOTE
Do this only if you know what you're doing and want out of it.

the camera won't wow you but you'll get a good value for your money. Buy if you want a phone that is fast and smooth. The battery isn't that good. But there's news that a 3000mah battery is coming

Hi dear, I have still been unable to flash my rom o. My laptop can't detect my phone, used all kinds of cable self, used another system too. No luck...wish there is a custom recovery for this phone, it's frustrating sha. . Any ideas ma'am?

remove auto date and time setting and change ya date to after the date given.

Copy the ROM on to your SD Card and flash from there.

Sorry forgot its Infinix Hot2 By the way, do you know that you have to turn the phone off for the ROM to update it? Please I would advise you download the Infinix Flashtool on their website and use. it is straight forward.

My dear, I dan try all that, infinix tool, sp flash tool, even removed my battery at some point self. No response. Just face I go face you.
