Ehn ehn!!!Palm oil massage?thats interesting,my dry cleaner will have a fun time when I am done.heheheheh

Lol...don't worry about dry cleaning.

By the time the grandma's are done, there's usually no trace of the palm oil left on the baby.

I bet you won't be able to stand and watch while whole bath and massage thingy will be done to the baby.

But it's a yoruba custom. You may not need to do that for ur baby if u are of another ethnic group.

Dudu Osun for baby I've not heard this one in my life TBH!!

ROTFL. I'm sure she meant black soap (ose dudu)its commonly used among the yorubas, some even mix with osun. I will surely take it along with the koinkoin. I hope I get the palm oil, dat palm oil massage too is good, our mothers believes a baby massaged wt palm oil can never have body odour. Dudu osun is a no no, but ose dudu mixed with osun (thanks Middy O for reminding me) is a must o

I have always used my savings account to buy PTA.

Someone just told me you have to have a Current account to get PTA. How true is this? I am sceptical about opening another current account.

@ Joleenluv and peebles. So sorry about your refusal. Like someone mentioned earlier, it's favour , real divine favour. Nobody can predict the VO. The best thing is to pray hard and prepare hard, I wasn't even asked about my salary or hubby's own, even, statement of acct wasn't checked, but me don finish the interview the previous day with prayer for favour. So pls reapply praying hard for favour. We eagerly await your success transcript

I know they use the local black soap for babies, but in my opinion dude osun will be harsh oh for a new born. Please use baby wash for at least a month.

Dusting powder in that red container for the baby, Dudu Osun soap for baby, rubb for aching back etc, blue seal Vaseline for baby, Tom Tom, and ur ante natal drugs.
dusting powder? It's called agnesia.

But anyway There are now things like diaper rash and skin rash creams that clears the rashes very fast. I know they sell it in naija, but I saw better ones in Walmart... For like $2.

They also have badass vaseline here.

For the antenatal drugs... I came with my pregnacare, but when I got here, Na pack my Dr pack ANC drugs give me. It's totally free here.

Then the duduosun part.... Hmmmm... That soap that's harsh for some adults not to talk of a baby.

Congrats to all the new mummies & daddies in the house. Please I'd like to ask, at what stage of pregnancy should one begin to scout for a doctor & hospital in the US for child birth. Is it too early at 3 months. Thanks for your feedback

Hello my people, Thank you all for the information available here. its been a blessing for me. I want to apply for my visa at the end of the month. I plan to use Haileah Hospital atleast to even get a quote. I have gotten the hospital's response via email. They gave me a couple of doctor's to contact for the doctor's fees and appointment, unfortunately its been almost impossible getting thru to them. I intend staying in florida.

Has anyone used Haileah, or does anyone have a doctor's contact, email preferably or even phone number around florida?

Any advice or information will be appreciated. Even if its another affordable hospital within the miami area, I am open to suggestions pls.

Thanks

She can add Tribotan baby cream from nija, VERY effective from reviews I get, had to send some to my friend in UK at some point, she didn't get result from other ones she used
Duduosun soap is too harsh for a newborn, acid content high for that tender skin, pls be cautious

Dimples is not a function of massaging ooh. ..
It's more of how the baby smiles and the bong structure of his/her face oh
..
This is modern age na. ...

Just coming back from the Naija embassy people @ Comfort Inn.
They are not issuing visas and even the passports they are processing will take 4-6weeks before you can collect it... - like I said, not for me.
The man also said that instead of an ETC, i can apply for the visa online and there is an option of collecting it in MMA II when I arrive in Nigeria...
That is what he said oh...., I don't know if it will work and I'm not that adventurous to try it mesef...
