A friend of mine called me late last night notifying me of a vacancy for a JSS maths teacher in the school he is serving.

i can teach maths to JSS classes, provided i prepare very well before the class. The issue am having now is tailoring my application to suit that of a maths teacher considering the fact that all my achievements have been exclusively related to Biology.

Guys, what do u think? should i give it a shot?

The entrance exam I wrote on the 6thoof October is arguably one of the worst and most difficult ever. I just kept quiet since, but reading some people's experience made me lol. May God help us all.

Although time was a major constraint. the current affairs questions were quite dicey. question like .....when was Unilag established

current minister of petroleum etc.
The English was more of analogy and antonyms.
mathematics was the cheapest but not enough time to solve.
in other to gain admission Heard someone paid 100k before the exams and intends to balance up with 50k once her name is released in the merit.
Nigeria is still very corrupt and I'm sure some people here won't hesitate to pay that large sum for admission. God help us all

To whom when you can use the money for better things, if you can't pass the entrance why are you seeking a higher certification. Not everyone that starts finishes this isn't like bsc. By the way the scores and admission list are public if you don't make department cut off no show regardless of money am not saying you are lying but I exteremly doubt the information (exaggerated)

Although questions were not reapeted but the past question served as a Guide, personally I think its not a waste of you buy it early enough, some peeps decided to buy 2days / a week before exam.

Its an entrance exam , if they repeat question then I would be disappointed.

I had a long conversation with the lady and in the process she gave me the program coordinators number and I called him immediately, he told me that everybody has to pay the 5k otherwise they won't collect the form so I had to pay. You have earlier been warned not to submit anything at the department from previous pages, its a sorry case that you fall victim some pay 2.5k. That's why the school stop submitting of forms yet you still go. All said sorry for your loss, and I pray we make it at last

I didn't hear that. As at the time I submitted I was the 55th person and on the examination day I meet a guy who said as at the time he submitted his number was about eighty-something, meaning virtually everyone in that department submitted. But I believe everything will go well sha Becos the kind of question they set in that exam wasn't for human being

I didn't see any notice on the website asking us to submit, so I didn't. Although one day I went to my department and one yeye small boy rudely told me to pay 2,5k, I asked what for, he said PQ. Told him I wasn't interested, I walked out.


But guy, u get mind pay that money oo. I got some past questions from someone here and frankly,they were totally USELESS!!

can u imagine, dats just ridiculous, when dey know most of the questions they will set wont be based on the past questions so m wondering y dey will mandate applicants to pay for d PQ. its just pathetic
