Every ethnic group is very important in support for elections in their host community.

That's the beauty of democracy

Everything is fair during election.
Re: Pictures Yoruba Leaders And Eze Ndiigbo During Election by bodeloja: 11:27am On Oct 17, 2015
Igbos are the only main ethnic group that has no King. Thus, the phrase "Igbo has no king" is famously used amongst the igbos.

Eze Ndiigbo is an elected representative of the igbo community. Many refer to him as the Chief spokes person for the community.

This is because of the simple fact that when everybody is talking at the same time, nobody is listening.

During election time, our Yoruba leaders will move mountain to have an audience with these igbo community representatives.

Here on nairaland we have obeserved the election process that create Eze Ndiigbo.

The last Nairaland Eze Ndiigbo was Onlytruth.

Truth be told, this thread calls for a deep and sober reflection on how far we take we take politics as regular citizens, never mind those who are seen here aren't actually the ones who are calling for the abolition of the practice of having an Igbo king in domains outside the SE.

This is why I keep insisting we don't kill ourselves over these guys- irrespective of tribe and religion, politicians are all the same. They make you appear like a brother when they need your votes, and soon after they get your mandate, they make a complete 180degrees on you! We've seen politicians ride on Okada with Okada men, and soon as they get elected, one of the first things they do is to clamp down on the "menace" of Okada riding.

I'm all for good governance and have always advocated that Nigerians be allowed to conduct their legitimate businesses without harassment wherever they find themselves within the boundaries of this country. I was against the Iyadoja Episode and find this latest attack condemnable as well (no offence to the Yorubas).

We should try as much as we can to observe some restraint in our conduct on-and-offline.

God bless Nigeria.

Nobody can abolish a community spoke person. Let us move beyond the politics and reason on practicality.

Even in UK and US, igbo and yoruba have community heads that are visited by the President and Prime Minister during election.

That assertion show just how childish nairalanders actually are.

All igbos will have to relocate to the east and Nigeria disintegrate for that to be possible.

Even, Eze Ndiigbo will still be found amongst the people whereever they settle or trade.

There is even one in nairaland.

The Ijaw President is now igbo abi? Is Rotimi Amaechi Yoruba?

Most south south people have names of the three major tribe.

Yorubas need to leave the south west and explore other region.

U are begining to appear backward and unexposed with all the tribal comments.

Yoruba Obas are known tribal biggot, rapist and extortionist. The entire yoruba culture needs reformation before we can consider any masquerade u call Oba as leaders. They are beggars and your true leaders are the men above not the masquerade in the pics u posted.

No yoruba leader is greater than the ones i posted with Eze Igbo, not even the Obas. They are the political movers and shakers of the south west. The Oba yeilds to their demands. They are the real Kings of Yoruba Land. Tinubu, Obj and Co.

And your point exactly is? Is it not the same regalia the EZE ndi Igbo wore to meet de'ewu of akure that sparked violence?

Bia, ishi odikwa gi mma nwataa angry
Re: Pictures Yoruba Leaders And Eze Ndiigbo During Election by wisdomguy4u(m): 2:31pm On Oct 17, 2015
Like Oba of akure, most yoruba youth are suffering from acute inferiority complex. That's why You demand for respect rather than work hard to earn it.

The Ogba ewu (Goat market) in head bridge market in Onitsha is dominated by hausas, even those some igbos sell goat there also, an Hausas man has always been the leader of the market and neither the Obi of Onitsha nor Igbos youths in Onitsha has ever felt threatened. Everybody is more occupied with their business.

Why would an Oba feel threatened when an Igbo man becomes a leader of a market highly dominated by Igbos? Inferiority complex is the answer. I understand that yorubas hate competition especially if the competitor is from another tribe.

The yorubas , hausas and other tribe exemption of Igbo always scream 'one Nigeria'. But Igbos are the tribe who practicalize 'one Nigeria' mantra.
