Thank you op. Speaking up by people like is the reason why some of us still have hope in Nigeria. Otherwise it looks debilitating when you live in a country with a people who think others must bend to their way of thinking. Thank God you made reference to Igbo and Yoruba fight, I assure you that the only thing that implicates Igbo in that fight is self-defense. We are being attacked unprovoked by this people. The hate is too deep.

Nobody hates you. Your insatiable attitude of wanting too much is what makes you feel hated. More so, you are fond of giving others what you can't take.

All I can see here are two fake and fraudulent kings.

One got his crown via jihad in the 19th century, while the other never had kingship till colonial Nigeria.

So what has this got to do with Yorubas, for fvck sake?

Yoruba culture is different from these two groups - keep Yorubas out of this nonsense.

If igbos try it again, the same thing would still happen. Yoruba thugs would still flog and humiliate their Eze Ndigbo again in the future.

Thank you for this question. Have you asked Britain what drove its people from their land in the 19th and 20th century? My brother we want to colonise you as Britain did. Of course while Britain colonise people some British people were attacked, the Igbo should not expect less from you. Blockhead, this answer is particularly for you for not understanding the meaning of a country, a nation. Ndigbo understand it and want to make Nigeria work. They are also open to other alternatives; if you don't want Nigeria Ndigbo are also ready to leave Nigeria and form their own country. So you must choose Nigeria or Oduduwa. If you choose Nigeria Igbos must be everywhere they want to be in Nigeria. If you choose Oduduwa Republic Igbos will leave your enclave or submit to any barbaric condition you have. But in as much as this is still one Nigeria, my brother you have no case.

Like Oba of akure, most yoruba youth are suffering
from acute inferiority complex. That's why You
demand for respect rather than work hard to earn it.

The Ogba ewu (Goat market) in head bridge market
in Onitsha is dominated by hausas, even those some
igbos sell goat there also, an Hausas man has
always been the leader of the market and neither
the Obi of Onitsha nor Igbos youths in Onitsha has
ever felt threatened. Everybody is more occupied
with their business.

Why would an Oba feel threatened when an Igbo
man becomes a leader of a market highly
dominated by Igbos? Inferiority complex is the
answer. I understand that yorubas hate competition
especially if the competitor is from another tribe.

The yorubas , hausas and other tribe exemption of
Igbo always scream 'one Nigeria'. But Igbos are the
tribe who practicalize 'one Nigeria' mantra.

even in rome u can't lord over us or be our chairman as far it concern COW and GOAT market, we produce it and bring it down south 4 sale. D day a Yoruba or ibo man try 2 become leader of cow seller in any area in south, that day, we wil stop bring COW 2 that area.

I'm posting this photo to correct this rumour going up and down about people in diaspora leaders can't wear their crown to visit the state king. That is the Eze Ndigbo of kano with Sanusi.

Whenever my owan people want to visit the Emir in kano, our Enogie goes with his full regalia, and nothing has happened.
Even in universities, when a tribe in the school want to visit a traditional leader, they go along with their appointed or voted king/queen.

What do we have in common with these cannibalistic id1ots that we taught how to spell their names?

Respect our culture and traditional institution or get lost back into your gully eroded land or be dwelling in the north with the Emir of Kano.

We do no know you before the British came and we can never be one and the same with some.barbaric flat.head cannibals.

When I assert myself you complain that I am domineering and wants to dominate others.. When you attack me and I complain you say I am playing the victim. What do you want me to do? To stop existing? Impossible.

Of course Britain forced us to come to South West, first during colonialism, second in company with USSR and USA during the civil war. You had no hand in the first instance but in the second instance were an accomplice.

Now challenge yourself on the strenght of the bolded and ask yourself what you really mean. Is is that we are not one and so should not be in the same country? Blame Britain and your fathers and not the Igbo. But the truth bro is that you are stuck in Nigeria. If you have ever left this country you will understand that from Calabar to Maiduguri Nigeria is the same. We eat the same food, wear the clothes, understand each other.

Sometimes I feel like ignoring people like you because it's obvious you lack proper knowledge of a modern society. What made Igbos come to Southwest is samething that made Shell, Chevron, DSTV and co leave their better countries to Nigeria. They saw opportunities where you are seeing problems. Chinese are all over the countries making money here but people like you with warpped sense of entitlement will sit in a corner and complain. People like you hate competition but healthy competition is what is developing other countries. So next time you think of asking an Igbo what he is doing in Southwest first go and ask a Chinese what he is doing in Nigeria, after all Nigeria is not better than China.

You can't have two kings in a single territory. The Eze Ndigbo of Akure is at best the leader of the Igbo community in Akure and not a king. If a real Igbo king like the Obi Onitsha is to visit the Akure palace, he will be accorded all due respect.

Prove your bravery by doing something practical about this issue. Your Eze was beaten blue and black and you are here telling us crap. Can't you organise reprisal attack to avenge this disgrace? The Eze Ndigbo of Akure is not a king in Akure. He's the leader of the Igbo community in Akure who was so appointed by the Deji in council the same way titled and ceremonial chiefs are appointed in the city. He can't be accorded the same respect that a visiting king of another territory will be accorded.

in fact, what i did not understand is what Igbos did to yorubas, i am not Igbo and i have lived among Igbos in the north, south south and west,Igbos are very peaceful people, the only crime this people commit is because they came to a strange land and succeeds, the question that every other tribes would ask Yoruba is ,why is that other tribes,Abuja, south-south,China and South Africa and northern states are not complaining of Igbos except Yorubsa,Yorubas have a very big problem in accepting other people other than their tribe.but one thing is certain,no matter how they bark, they can never bite anybody and Igbos will continue to prosper.

Inferiority complex is what is killing the dirty Oba.
Well, we have chosen who will be our leader and we call him our Eze. He does not report to any useless Oba.
