nowhere in that link did it say barclays colleagues decide the player of the month. it only said they could vote via intranet and i am certain the votes decide the names to be shortlisted before the panel looks into it and decide the deserved winner.

they cannot vote alongside the panel.....the panel is set up to fine-tune the names voted for by barclays colleagues via intranet. intranet isn't even a public vote. you have to be a barclays staff to be able to vote.
