if you are comming to korea to work ..forget it ....koreans prefer to hire their own poeple ..do you know how many smart graduates walking around in korea ..all they do here is study till midnight (high school)... sure ..u can get factory jobs..but be ready to work mon-sat ..and long hours .... most 9ja guys can,t do for long ...cos is physically demanding ....and most are lazy ....some guys will work for 3months and quit .......i did it for 2yrs ..before going into buying and selling of parts and wears.... be ready to work bro ......

even in the US ,you are not allowed to defer admission in order to work .... for you to do that ..u need a good supporting documents ..like death in the family or sickness ..... ..remenber working and going to school with a full loads..is hard ...u can get dismissed from school for not making point gpa ..or failing language school... and you are required to leave the country .....

i know of a guy that brought his brother here to go to school.. he failed language school... and was refused visa extension ...and was ask to leave the country .. his brother was so mad and sent him back to 9ja ...becos he didnt want them looking for him and ruining his immgration record..

Thank you for the quick advice but I read earlier on this thread that as a graduate student you will mostly have classes to attend twice or three times a week. if it's true can someone still get a factory work for upkeep those days he has no class?
Thanks once more

Well.. i spoke to few Nigerians here in korea....

Obinna .... he told me that he came here through church conference. .paid about 250k for visa ...and never left again he works in the factory.....been here since 2014 ...and this is his 3rd factory job... his favourite quote ...o boy if u wan work ..work dey ...lol...

Another guy ..knows him by his nickname " fresh fish"..lol...so i call him ..fresh... came through school ..working full-time. .not sure if he still in sch...

Ur best bet is to come through some organization....but be careful with fake visa .. ...

But i have seen alot of Nigerians here with no stay ..last time i was in korea .. most of them in Canada. .new Zealand. .us ... marriage of course ... nothing is impossible.....

@Acadollar, @Igwe, May you brothers never lack.
My younger brother intends to migrate to SK, he is expecting an IV from an SK company to further process his visa but he is somehow physically challenged; he had polio and so limps his right leg shortened a bit. I have been wondering if he can be given the opportunity to work in a factory as most jobs there are mostly for physically fit people.
Pls I need your advice.
Thanks
