Google's Indirect Message. by BlogOxygen: 8:48am On Oct 19, 2015
Hello everyone, how's it going?

Thanks to everyone especially bloggers and site owners for patronising and supporting our initiative which would soon be 3 Months old.

Quickly, asides the blog design, Site design and Unique quality articles supply services, lately we've had a lot of orders that has to do with changing of domain names from . to .com.

Unsurprising it was after realising Google had dissected blogs into locations. Those still on would confirm this. Rather than yourdomain..com, It's now your domain..com.ng or .za or .uk and so on.

I told clients and I'll say it again that it's Google's indirect message to bloggers who are lobbying on the corridor to get out! and get their .com domain names. I'm not about giving a sermon on why getting your domain is better than the name. Make a research for yourself.

Google might as well put the year you registered the blog after the .location suffix they've just added. They'll make your domain name so long, it becomes very ugly to even you the blog owner.

Finally, it doesn't cost a leg and an arm. It costs around $12 - $15 dollars to get and register a domain name. So why wait? Do it once and for all and get it over with.

Thanks for your time and have a wonderful week ahead.
We still remain your one stop shop for anything blog and site related.

And yes, If you would like to register your own domain name at the cheapest price available, all you need do is send a mail to contact@blogoxygen.com and we'll pick it up from there.

Cheers.

Nice. I'm a personal fan of .com.ng and .ng domain names and I believe every Nigerian business can attach a sense identity to their businesses as opposed to .com names. Either way, it's important to have your own registered domain name.

You're right hahn. I only think having .ng should be after you purchase the .com domain. Talk about versatility or general adaptation. I can move my business to Australia without having to think about how to change my domain suffix.

I don't see anything wrong with moving a .ng business to australia though
