Bros is it a bad idea to demote those who have been wrongly promoted due to their godfatherism and promote those who deserve it?? Abi make e still leave those with corruption for the system to continue soiling the name of customs.

My brother be sincere, if truly it was about godfatherism, Buhari wouldn't have been where he is now, we should stop being hypocritical. Buhari is the least qualified person to lead Nigeria before now and at present. He got into the Army through Godfatherism and that was what made him advance to where he is today. Talking of who deserves it, only the gullible ones would be deceived because the ones that has godfathers or got promoted with the influence of Godfathers will never be demoted.

This is a very fine move by President Buhari and his APC leadership. Many youths are roaming all over the country without a place to work. We are still keeping some grand papa and grand mama in the customs.

Many of them just remain in the customs with falsified age and they are also heavily involved in corruption.

To you customs officers that is due for retirement if you remain in that office when and where will you children work? Answer that question!

as if the committee that they want to set up will strategically and rootly review all the anomalies in the NCS especially in the posting, recruitment process, etc. some will still sort the committee to allow them. pls oga comptroller , you really need to do alot of work synergically with other security agency to fight corruption and other vices for better Nigeria. this is our country and its up to us.

I hustled for this customs job in 2012 during the general recruitment exercise but didn't get it. They employed mostly Northerner, and that dumb GEJ couldn't cancel the exercise seeing the northern favoritism. A guy whom his cousin helped him got the custom job then in 2012 now has two cars (a 2013 Honda Sedan, evil spirit as many Nigerians call the Honda car and 2012 Nissan) also he his building his own home in his home town in just 3years that he has been in custom

Is a welcome development, let there be a level playing ground as far as recruitment, promotion and posting are concerned.

whoever used the word SACK may have lost his mind, when we are talking of creating more jobs. you are meant to close the loop holes not to sack. when you sack, they get back to the society and become nuisance

indiscriminate sacking will not be the solution, but retire unproductive/old woods and sack corrupt ones.
to create room for new jobs
Re: Mass Sack, Demotion Looms In Customs by DrewMX(m): 10:55am On Oct 19, 2015
Oga Comptroller General,use any strategy of your Choice,but Mass Sacking is not the solution, U ll only end up compounding the economic problems in Nigeria.
Re: Mass Sack, Demotion Looms In Customs by lordcabasa(m): 10:58am On Oct 19, 2015
Another false front to remove southerners from perceived POSITIONS of authorities or privileged positions in favour of the northerners, this is because the last person in authority I think was the president from the south and I believe those promoted may be perceived to be his kinsmen hence the ploy by the north to perpetually reduce the southerners from positions of authority to forestall another southerner emerging into a power broker in the customs for reasons best known to them;
Civil we are, obedience to constituted authority remains our oath but injustice never lasts forever the U.S.S.R and Sudan is a perfect example.

WITH EYES WIDE AWAKE WE ARE WATCHING! !
